There is a difference between social anxiety and introversion. Introversion doesn’t need to be that you dislike other people, it’s just that if all else is equal and you have a choice between enjoying time alone or with a stranger, an introvert will be more likely to chose being alone. Social anxiety on the other hand is where you *want* to be part of social interactions, but worrying about basically everything wears you out and causes you to avoid social interactions. I personally think it is important to make a distinction so people with social anxiety realize their situation is likely due to trauma or bad social interactions at a young age giving them a warped social upbringing which can be mended by going to a psychiatric, while introversion is just a personality trait and nothing to worry about, just remember to keep in contact with your friends so they are there when you feel like doing something.

Interesting story about phones and balconies: When I was in high school, I was walking from the second floor balcony to the stairs for the first floor (outside), and um... Yeah, I dropped my phone. Dropped onto the metal rails on the first floor and then instead of the SOFT GRASS it chose the CEMENT. SOMEHOW it wasn't broken. Didn't even have a crack. I could never use wired earbuds again, but y'know what? I still had my phone.

11:45 tmi but at some point last year i had a runny nose and was at work (confirmed not to have been covid) talking to a customer. At one point i had to sneeze and as a decent human being i didnt remove the mask, turned around, and still covered my sneeze with my arm. I made an absolute mess inside the mask, but i couldnt just admit it to the person i was talking to, so out of cheer cluelessness i spent the next 5~10mins talking to someone while wearing an unsuspiciously snotted mask.
