Let me tell you a story. As you know, Evanescence is a product of Atlantic Records. Ahmet Ertegün, owner of Atlantic Records, as we all know, made an album offer to Şebnem Ferah years before the Evanescence incident. They started to work, but in 1999 there was an earthquake in Turkey and Sebnem lost her father. Şebnem withdrew from the project and Atlantic records found Evanescence 2 years later.

I didn’t appreciate any of those subtle sneaky criticism. I won’t watch her again.

Americans think we dont have electricity as they watch ERDO and his constant lies about the country like we didn't have electricity until he was elected. The west translate him to English as he is the president so must be telling the truths, my friends who hears him ask me if I had to live in a tent before I came to the USA. Some open minded ones exist but mostly they don't know anything. So, at least, she is doing a reaction video, and perhaps people watch internationally especially from the west. And Perhaps after watching this concert they will realize not only the brilliant music but see how people men and women come together in a peaceful concert and sing all together. This is year it was Tarkan concert in Izmir/Turkiye. I was not there unfortunately.

It sounds a bit like arabic just cracked me open like wtf 😂😂😂 you honestly need to check your hearing😉 Arabic is spoken from the throat while Turkish is sound more like Italian or Spanish with a different rhythm😉 while I was in the us, nobody assumed that I was from any arabic country. Their opinion were mostly focused on Central America or Southern Asia. They were just confused bc Turkey and Turkish culture is not well presented in the mainstream. So I couldn’t blame them. However, when you pick song and singer from an unknown culture, should’ve gone a bit deeper on them. Putting Turkish and arabic familiar is found actually offensive in Turkey! Keep in mind😉

Out of almost 125.000 words in modern Türkiye Türkish, there are only 3000 arabic words due to the 600 years of Ataman (Ottoman) rule of the Arabian geography. Original Turkish is totally a different language in Ural-Altay group, with a unique alphabet that is, according to some scholars, resemble the Etruscian alphabet that originated the Latin alphabet ‘aomega’.
