I saw this line up in Brighton U.K the first date of their 1975 tour. About three quarters full but the band were absolutely on fire. Didn't know anything about Emmylou except she was great looking and it was only £2,50 to get in so i thought what the hell. What a show! They played for ages and got FIVE encores even the roadies were dancing behind her. "Hey Boys," She said "They're not throwing tomatoes tonight" This was the highlight Burton's guitar solo was phenomenal. I think they were surprised at the response they got. Saw her again with Albert Lee it was good, but this 75 gig was a classic!

Hard to imagine I have been an ELH fan since the early seventies..I can't describe what this fantasic voice does to me. What a beautiful lady and human being. Thanks much for this rare item.

An angel on earth. And reining queen of Nashville by virtue of talent and one of the finest, most gracious and loved women in the world of music. A trailblazer for two generations of female artists.

A rockin' Emmylou with Hank DeVito and James Burton lighting it up. Fantastic! Emmylou sang songs exactly like she wanted to.

First edition of the Hot Band! Saw them in 1975 and 1976 here in the Netherlands. One of my favorite bands ever!

Just finished a book about Rock in Calif in the 70s. Lots of Gram Parsons. But it was very obvious that this lady was strong and had it all together even then. What a gift from God she is.

Wow! I had no idea sweet Emmylou once did songs like this! And a real decent job on it, too.

I remember seeing her (first ever?) gig in London in 1975 or '76 where they played this great version of the superb Smokey Robinson song. With James Burton and the Elvis band backing the great Emmylou there were a lot of old British "Teddy Boys" and "Rockers" in the audience who were there for James and the band... but the atmosphere was great and everyone went ape for the whole glorious package. Great, great days. Gram would've been proud!

WOW! That's pretty flamboyant for JAMES!! You could used to go into his little CAFE in downtown Shreveport --walk in for free and catch THE MAN 3 feet away from you, just burnin'. The nicest human you could EVER meet.
