Possibly gold level Ana play, but Moira play was genuine bronze. Needs to not fade into the middle of their own team where the enemy is always looking, needs to confirm closeby 1hp kill targets, and needs to learn to use both damage and healing orbs more effectively bouncing off the geometry and following them. Watching some Awkward/Arx_UK will fix that up. Can easily climb out of bronze and beyond.

I think I see myself in this Ana (as an Ana main). As it stands, I think they'd be able to cimb to Gold easy. What got me stuck in gold was chasing my team mates when they dive in 1vs6 (or 5, more recently) and trying to keep that alive. (like at 2:22, Soldier is alone and Ana pushes in to save him.) The nades just need practise though, and learning where to splash them from. Do this and they'll peak 3005 sr like I did in OW1 and have been hardstuck plat ever since. 😃

This reminds me of that one match I had where I feel like the doom and I are just playing a separate match half the game. He was hard focusing me so much and he was slept a lot cause of that. The match pretty much ended in a c9 (he jumped off the point to seismic slam me). 🙃

The point about overconfidence leading to bad positioning is depressingly true. In every one of my games that my group doesn’t make up most of the team, they always extend way too far and the team wipes. One of the only reasons I still play tank is to control where my team goes. Doesn’t always work, but it’s more effective than the other roles

Their moira leaves alot to be desired the amount of times they threw a purple orb when a healing orb wouldve not only given them more ult charge and kept their team alive when their team was at critical hp happened twice and I think thats what costed them in the end

I have been playing in Bronze since season 2 of the og OW. never ranked up! So, it is obvious, that I suck lol. With this out of the way: Every time I play comp now, Bronze 5 ofc, I hear your voice announcing plays in your Bronze BIngo. Every single play my team or I make is on this bingo card. At 2:39 at what you describe. I call the over confident pusher or the i can totally win 1v2 or more out of l.o.s..... .On first hold pacifically. Tho it is also a problem throughout the game. When they got a hold on the payload. As long as they can out think and out play the opponents ult usage and timing.

This is great for bronze, but the Ana really needs to work on their decision making. Multiple times they only survived because of the other teams incompetence, like when the first point when they went to rescue the dps when it was the entire enemy team v the dps.

Gonna say something brutal here: That final Moira orb lost them the game. Because if that had been a healing orb instead of a damage orb, they probably coulda kept the team alive.

my guess is that they played comp casually at one point and went to bronze because, at the time, they were at a bronze skill level. then, they focused on improving and used quick play to practice. now theyre playing comp again and their actual skill level doesn't match their rank now. just my guess but this is common. it doesn't mean the ranked system is inherently bad, just that not everyone grinds comp all the time.

Nah I think low gold at best. They've got half decent aim and good positioning, but that's it. Nades were hot and cold, sleep darts were tragic unless doom was in their face, ults weren't good either. A good shooter but that's about it

@@TiernanBaker I most ana players below diamond aren't great with her abilities and struggle to get consistent value with them (and it's even the case in diamond+ just to a lesser extent) tbh and I have seen ana players in plat with worse positioning and positioning is one of the most important things to get righ with ana.

WAY TOO MANY DAMAGE ORBS AS MOIRA. That’s actually what cost the game. If you had just thrown one healing orb in a good place there at the end, you would have won.

Be more agressive as Ana. You are healing people who aren't in the desperate need for healing. Go for more damage, play on the corners, purple with the nade, don't hold sleeps. Go for combos with the nano, and also to save a teamate during a important team fight. But good positioning and survivability.
