@dayanajocelin4 жыл бұрын
Mateo Ceballos Querol I am in English HL-2 , Spanish HL-2 and TOK right now, then next semester I have Math Apps SL, Bio HL-2 and HOTA HL-2 and I took Visual Arts SL last year. Also, because of Covid-19 and our classes being online our school forced the IB Programme to follow the semester schedule. It really sucks and our teachers fought against it, especially since it wasn’t like this last year. Oh, and my EE is going to be on the psychological effects of second hand smoking.

I have been asked to speak at my high school graduation this Friday, a school that I transferred to just three years ago after a long troubled past and academic career since the time I was a child. This is an opportunity that I never thought I would have, let alone graduate. I too have have grown and evolved into a new young woman with a new perspective and outlook of life. I have listened to every graduation speech to gain some inspiration but none of them had really hit me personally until this one.. Thank you for sharing your experience and journey with me and the rest of the world and other young Hispanic and Latinx like myself ❤️ Your raw truth and vulnerability is deeply admired and appreciated. Congratulations and I wish you nothing but ultimate success. You’re amazing.

I've battled depression for over 35 years and absolutely love seeing others open up about their feelings... because it is VERY hard for most of us to share so willingly. I just want to share something I wrote that touches on my experiences... in the simplest form. I waited in the darkness for a light to shine... when this light, all along, was I

Hi, I am graduating as Valedictorian of my high school this month and I wanted to leave a comment saying how beautiful your sisters speech was!! It was truly inspiring and I used it to loosely write my own speech haha. Although she graduated in 2019 and I am graduating 2023, she still continues to impact people with her words and I hope you are all doing well. Congratulations again and thank you for blessing us with this video!

I wish more people understood the serious mental toll that education can take on students, especially those who already face many factors which affect their mental health outside of school.
