This expansion has just arrived in Poland (this is one of benefits of shopping in the official store :)) and I have to say that I couldn't agree more with Zee! Those fractions are excellent in the way of enriching the base game. I really love the way Trajana clan does its job of giving you more and making everything crazy expensive at the same time. A must have for EotN fans!

discovering the game, and loves it a lot ! I'll probably then, got some of those expansions ! My only downside wich restrain me a bit, is that they're not adding some new "solo quest" to get more than the 4 in the original box ! I hope they will bring more of those "solo quest" so we can got some more variant there as i play a lot solo on this game ! Cheers And please, continue those little review ! I love it a lot ! They're clear, and the final describing everything "point by point" is great ! Good work ! Keep it up !

Thanks for the review. Minor thing...if you're going to mention that there is another video I should look at, could you put the link in the description?

I'm thinking that I may need to wait for Empires of the North: The Big Box. 😊

Same. I feel the slight updates to the components for each of the expansions are great but really start require the base game to be updated and the game isn't even a year old.

Big boxes are always a drag. Not convenient at all to bring them anywhere. Take so much room on the shelf. And lets face it, at the end of the day it's not like you will be playing Empires of the North that often, once you cool down from it...so that big box will just sit there, take room and collect dust. Also, Big Boxes are many times, half empty,...now that would suck, an unnecessarily big box on the shelf that is half empty.

You are going to have a very, very, very long wait then.

Romanes eunt domus. I don't know, why all these factions from the original IS have to be shoehorned into this "northern themed" new game.
@tommylundmark81754 жыл бұрын
Exactly, with the base game we got a map of the imperial settlers universe which depicted tribes in russia, africa and north america and yet we keep getting these old factions. Guess the next expansion is either egyptians or barbarians.
@tommylundmark81754 жыл бұрын
Indeed, barbarian expansion already announced. Guess it's a safe bet to say the egyptians will be added in the future.

Are you going to review NH 3.0 Sandrunners?
@Fighterfan694 жыл бұрын
Wow that was fast. I have yet to get the Japanese expansions and Romans are out. EotN replaced Imperial settlers for me. I really am looking forward to more expansions though. Wonder what's next.

Check out Imperial Settlers: Rise of the Empires... I had the same feeling regarding IS, guess I will have to return to it :) boardgamegeek.com/boardgameexpansion/299277/imperial-settlers-rise-empire

I have played the base game over 20 times now with my son and I find that whilst this game is brilliant, with a lot of hidden depth with strategies, it could do without expansions adding extra faction rules. The official FAQ is already long + it has a card clarification document. Unless you are playing this game regularly, there is too many specific rules to check up on. It puts me off wanting to pick it up again after a couple of months away.

Its a shame really, they needed to release a 2nd expansion to fix the color matching problem. PATHETIC. Obviously it was done intentionally. Having a such a great game, thought about every rule, testing it thoroughly, but then not doing something so simple as matching a color? Why!?

dude, It's such a minor grievance to get worked up about
