The last story. Let me fix the title. "Am I the jerk for doing the right thing for taking back a wheelchair that was stolen?" As someone who has a disability and who could (lemme stress *could*) probably use a wheelchair (I personally don't cause I feel that there are folks who need it more than I). It passes me off. Apparently these idiots don't believe that there is invisible disabilities and that "if you can do it. Let me take it cause we need it more."

story #1 - typically forgiveness of debt income is not subject to payroll taxes (social security or Medicare), plus there are loopholes available to avoid recognizing the debt forgiveness income. So if I was in o/p's place, and there wasn't an executed note for each loan distributed, then I would have reported the $60K as 'non-employee compensation' which will be subject to the payroll taxes (~15%) plus it's not subject to the loopholes found with debt forgiveness. On a side note - when you show that you're a sheep, don't be surprised when you find yourself surrounded by wolves. I still think the majority of people are good, but if you don't put up personal protections, you're going to constantly expose yourself to those who will take advantage of you. I think you'll find that once you do that, the 'wolves' stop hanging around so much and you get a better sample of the actual population as a whole.

Story 3: The level of entitlement and disrespect from these in-laws is insane. After hearing about everything they did, I wouldn't feel bad about making them live in their car, not even for their kids. And the narrator is right, if the mother in law cares enough to beg OP to take the in-laws back, she should offer them to live in her own house instead. Story 4: I completely understand why OP doesn't want to go on a vacation with a bunch of strangers, that's legit terrifying. Being at a strange place with strange people who you know nothing of sounds very scary. Story 5: Stealing a wheelchair from a disabled man is one of the scummiest things you can do. Screw off with your 'but my baby is tired' excuse. OP could've broken that lady's face and he still wouldn't be the jerk.

The OP in the last story is 100% *not* the jerk AT ALL. That mother is an awful person and is setting a very bad example for her child. OP did the right thing. I hope Jackson sued the lady for any injuries that she caused him if he possibly could. Also, 18:28 the female friend is VERY stupid. There is literally no excuse for the lady to take a wheelchair of a disabled person. You don't just do that, and like the narrator said if the kid really was tired then it's time to go home and take a nap.

Guys I need advice about if I’m the jerk in this situation I 17m drives with my grandfather so I can get my hours in But today I had to go to the bank to cash my check I go to pull onto my the road on the 3 way intersection and I see a car about to pull to the 3d lain so I thought I was clear to go I go and next thing I know I hear the longest beep ever And I go to pull into the bank literally not even a minutes drive away I hear “LEAN NOW TO F*UCKING DRIVE” and being yelled at by a stranger I got defensive and yelled back “F*CK YOU” (I am normally even tempered most of the time) And we thought it was the end of that I get to the bank and go to the drive trew But of course he turned around to yell more My grandfather roles his side of the window down And he says “YOU NEED TO LEAN SOME GODDAM RESPECT AND LEAN HOW TO FUCKING DRIVE” and I responded “I’m trying to” Then he turns to my grandad and says “You need to teach that boy some respect before I do” (I’m 17 6ft2 and I’m 248 pounds I’m not built I’m just strong from my job lifting mutable 50 to 40 pounds bags of a time I would of gotten out if he started it) Then he says “and how dare you use that language about my kid! (He was swearing most of the time) We both “said sorry (half heartily)” and he speeds off So I want to know AM I THE JERK

The girl having problems with her cousin inviting her friend or friends to their trap I don’t agree with half and because she saying I paid for half of it meaning the Cousin paid for the other half of the Airbnb and let’s say this is our original poster she’s like oh I have these two friends. I really want to invite. They’re coming along and Cousin to meet her friend and I put those friends of the original poster that her cousin hasn’t met that this girl would’ve been OK with inviting I feel like it’s just how. her cousin met these friends at clubs.
