Trust me, not always there is a bad influence, I met in high school an absoluta jerk, that asshole insults ppl, destroy homework, try to being intimancy with a girl with girlfriend, try to STEAL a dog from a little boy, smoke, drink beer and make a boy to were expelled from school 2 weeks for something he do (vandalise a car.... Badly), that jerk was all the worst and more, the fun fact was that the family was sweet and kindly, I know It because I met them and ALL THE NEIGHBOWRS confirmed with me they are lovely ppls, that family never done anything to Buff that kind of behavior, It was that jerk that thinks "Im gonna be bad ppl because I can", the principal were suspicius about the vandalised car and starting to así the kids (me included) and then was when the shit hit the fan bc the jerk said I WAS IN THE VAMDALISED CAR LOOKING and the principal knew that It was impossible bc I were... Blamd, soft, dont like the parking área, so when he ask me I was like "Oh hell no, never was, never Will", then other students start giving more info and then BAM, some "anonymous" info that confirmed that Jerk was the One Who vandalised the car

The babysitter story: there's an eye for an eye, but this is a whole new level. Keep in mind, when people trust you and let you in their house they don't really want you to go through their stuff. Personally wouldn't care about the 2 cookies, would lose my sh** over the fact that you went through my stuff and just grabbed what you wanted.

If you’re going to have someone working for more than 4 hours looking after your child, you better have a meal set up for both parties than just a small snack. Paying for services regardless, you are still leaving your child in someone else’s care just so you can have some quality time with your S/O. Especially since the babysitter is 15.

In the babysitter story when they rearranged things in someone else’s house was absolutely a jerk move for me. Like I understand that op didn’t understand what OCD was at the time but they had no right to mess with things in someone else’s house just because the mother had yelled at op’s mom.

OCD or not the fact that they got home late, didnt pay thje OP any extra for getting back late, didnt apologize for the freakout and then having the nerve to not only ask them to work for them again but tell them "not to have a repeat of last time" makes her deserve everything she got i had friends with OCD and whenever someone accidentally disrupted their organization systems, yes they would freak out, but they also apologized after because they know it wasnt malicious

Normally, I wouldn't condone screwing with someone's doomsday pantry, and besides, doomsday prepping is not a symptom of OCD, if anything, there is justifiable reasons for prepping. However, the lady did need to be taught that you can't just be an asshole to people, because doing that in a post-SHTF situation is a sure way to paint you as a target. Also, two oreos is literally nothing. Oreos generally last only 4-6 months and it sounded like the lady had like more than that in cookies overall. If anything, the OP pretty much most likely saved the lady's life.
@mrroboshadow
@mrroboshadow 10 ай бұрын
@Voltur-rw9cy you're right, prepping isn't a symptom of OCD However compulsively checking your inventory as soon as you return home does seem to be Also the oreos in question, if I'm understanding the story correctly, were an already open box, the op simply taking 2 more cookies aside from the ones left out for them

On the story about the cafeteria it reminded me of a day where i cried let me explain: a long time we used to go to camps Now they aren't camps like in forest, there camps that did have buildings and we got invited into one, There was the Main room where you draw and stuff there are the bedrooms and there was the outside, every day we woke up doing new challenges like learning how to ride a bike (and this is where i learned how to ride a bike) and there are 3 waves of cafeteria you know breakfast, lunch and dinner, me and my 2 other brothers used to sit along side, and i mean like ALOT and sadly i got separated from my brothers and my anxiety spiked up, like a butt ton to the point it made by cry and i guess i dont remember what happened after but after all i enjoyed the camp and wished to go there but i moved out and now all i can do is remember the awesome people who helped me ride bike and do quiz and even play a game about a wolf murdering villages and you have to guess one which is.

I don’t care if someone has OCD or not- you don’t disrespect someone else’s property. Just bring your own damn snack next time. What maniac thinks it’s okay to do this in ANY household where the owners have trusted you with being inside their home? What is WRONG with OP in this story? “I didn’t understand OCD at the time-“ YOU DON’T DO THIS TO ANYONE!!! This is so disrespectful. No wonder the neighbors avoiding OP at all costs after this. It makes my blood boil that anyone would think it’s okay to punish someone like this. The punishment has to be equal to the crime but even then, this was over 2 Oreos. One could easily say the neighbor was irrationally mad over two Oreos but escalating the situation over two Oreos is even more stupid. It’s immature and toxic “I need to have the last laugh” type behavior.

I was on their side right up until they described what they did, you could have just said no when they asked you to babysit again, you did not have to ruin their pantry being petty. OP obviously has no idea what it's like to have OCD, it's horrible, and it sounds like her OCD is even worse than mine, and the fact that OP still shows no remorse and tries to excuse themselves because they didn't know at the time about OCD and what it entails just pisses me off even more. Whether it was 2 cookies or a whole package, OP stole their food, she didn't have to leave him out anything, now, I don't agree with her yelling at OP's Mom,(I would have talked to OP, not his mom) but OP definitely went too far, 15 is old enough to know better😡

Cookie story, OP is honestly the jerk here, you went into their pantry without permission, she over reacted, but they did do something wrong. Wtf is wrong with the OP, and narrator supports it? Breaking un, framing someone and getting them sent to military school.

No wonder the revenge girl is challenged morally. Her parents don't even know two wrongs don't make a right. So they go through life having to exact pay back for every slight! What a world to live in! She said she wouldn't have eaten the cookies had she known the woman had a mental problem then after knowing that goes nuclear in her. Shame on that girl and her parents!! She didn't just hurt the woman but the whole family and even more so herself. If I was that woman I'd be more concerned on what a vengeful girl like that would do to my child! Revenge doesn't belong vin a civilized society. It's more than being childish. It's sick.

Story 2's OP is the jerk. Yes, the lady shouldn't have reduced the pay and shouldn't have yelled at the mom, but OP did steal their food. It's OP's own fault they skipped dinner. OCD or not, the lady didn't have to give OP any food. Yes, it was just 2 cookies, but OP didn't have permission to go through their pantry. OP lacks manners. If OP didn't like the lady they could've just said no to the job

It's not about the Oreos. OP went through someone else's pantry like it's their house and ate stuff he wasn't given permission to eat. Plus, what OP did was bullying someone with a condition they can't help

@@shortangel333 according to your logic, if a teenager were to kick a homeless man while the man is lying on the street trying to sleep. That wouldn't count as bullying. If that teenager were to pretend to give the homeless man money but then take it back and laugh at the homeless guy's face, it wouldn't be bullying. The "child" in this story is old enough to baby sit, meaning, old enough to take care of others and old enough to work. That means they're old enough to know better. Plus, leaving the concept of bullying aside, even a younger kid would know not to go through other people's things without permission. I stand my ground, OP lacks manners

The second story... THAT woman has a serious case of OCD! I don't care how little food you have in the house, your kids are in the care of the babysitter that you hired! Let them eat whatever! If nothing else, they'll be happy to sit for you next time, even if your kid is the devil himself! Standard staples for your babysitter? Sweet drinks, fruit, chips. Bottled water, TV (preferably with cable or at least some sort of streaming like Netflix or Tubi), wifi access ( Yes, that means sharing your password 🙄) something to use to bribe your kid in case of a monster fit, list of phone numbers, including wherever you are going. Top Ramen is also a good one. Don't want them to get into your pantry? Put the stuff they can have in a basket on the counter with their name on it. If they're really good with your kids, ask them if there's something they would particularly like to see in the basket. (A lot of the time, the answer is going to be something like funions or chocolate or some particular type of soda/drink mix. Mine was always Dr. Pepper or dark chocolate) Holidays coming up? Slip a bit of extra cash their way. EVERYBODY appreciates cash (or gift cards). A lot of high school kids babysitter in order to save up for moving out or senior year costs like prom and graduation. Trust me when I say that every penny of what you pay is counted twice and cherished beyond words. A good babysitter needs to know that you appreciate their help just as much, if not more than the money they are earning. The happier they are with the parents, the more patient they will be with the kids. And, the more likely that the kids will actually get along with them and look forward to the babysitter coming over. I've been the high school babysitter. I've also been a live in, full time nanny. Of the two, I would much rather be a babysitter than a nanny ever again. As much as I enjoy being around children and helping to raise them, watch them learn and grow, I always needed to be able to just walk out the door and leave the family to get on with their life and be able to have a life of my own as well. As a nanny, having any sort of life separate from the family you work for is pretty much impossible because you are on call 24/7/365. There's no room for anything else.

Yyyyyyyeah...no. she still stole. If you hired me, and I showed up, and while watching your kid decided to help myself to some of your alcohol, and I don't mean in a can, but the high end stuff... you'd be mad to. Don't act like them hiring someone is grounds for that someone to steal from them.
