Why are we surprised that hospitals are all over capacity? I recently called my clinic, asking to see a doctor because I thought I had bronchitis or pneumonia. The claim is that the virus will continue to propagate and mutate UNLESS there is very high vaccination rates. It is argued that only this path will approach a herd immunity. If that is true, then all the people who reject vaccination are interfering with the very desirable goal of herd immunity (or some facsimile of it). If you were convince of this claim, you would naturally criticize the unvaccinated. But how can anyone know that herd immunity will be achieved in this way? This argument is being undermined by three factors. The rather short window of effectiveness of the vaccine in boosting anti-bodies, the capacity of the vaccinated to be infected and transmit the virus , and the growing data showing that the development of natural immunity is superior in the long run. The last point becomes crucial in light of : The hypothetical endless parade of booster shots required to maintain anti bodies; AND having no way to know if they will diminish in effectiveness over time , OR what the potential adverse effects of multiple jabs will be. The ugly truth is that herd immunity is just not a real thing that can be achieved under the current vaccine regimen. I don’t know why anyone would claim that it can at this point. It merely guarantees that the pandemic will be endemic. It will always be with us. On the face of it, this seems like the exact opposite of herd immunity. The weak and the vulnerable live on to potentially be infected over an over again, and the strong do not actually strengthen their natural antibodies in the typical fashion. One might hope a new and much more effective vaccine would be developed to address this problem but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

Chuck my daughter is an ICU Nurse who does not want the vaccine. She has been in the trenches everyday since this pandemic began. Other nurses are wearing a sticker on their ID badge that they received their vaccine and she is being bullied, harassed and belittled by fellow employees and doctors who work with her. @s G Yes, none of it makes any real sense. It's interesting how they're able to make it sound like it all does somehow to some folks, and they're totally convinced. But, I also recognize that there are ways to speak to convince people of things without them realizing what you're actually doing, or that you're even doing it. The programming. Unless one is actually awake. Truly. I think the biggest problem is the lack of love. Both sides, I'm sure, would have their reasons/arguments as to how the other side isn't loving them somehow, so there's just major division instead. If we had true leaders running the show, they would be working to find ways to make it work all the way around so everyone was happy instead of what we're seeing and experiencing right now. But they'd have to actually genuinely care about everyone enough to do that. It's obviously not about that. In fact, it's the total opposite. But apparently that's what they want because that's what they're creating, and it looks like they want that really bad. That's why the chaos, the nonsense, the everything. The truth, in my opinion, is it doesn't have to be this way. It could all be completely different and good for all. Yeah, it's pretty darn sad.
