Empowering communities | Vasilis Chrisos | TEDxLesvos

Vasilis Chrisos talks about the vision and efforts of his team to empower the local community and build a community wireless network which links 15 villages in the area of Sarantaporo, providing free internet for residents and visitors! Vasilis Chrisos is an active citizen and he participated in several social movements and initiatives for several issues, like environment protection, public spaces, citizen journalism, immigrants’ rights etc. Except from Sarantaporo.gr founding member, he is also a cofounder of Ex Machina, an Internet of Things sector startup.
