I was waiting for more episodes to come before starting this drama, but my mind didn't resist :( I started this 2 days ago and I already finished all 14 episodes, yesterday. I didn't sleep.
I knew it, I knew this was the kind of drama that for me is a total addiction! I love historical dramas with sad love stories, and here we have a heroine that disguises her as a boy through all her entire life. She meets the king of goryo and both like each other, but he thinks she's a boy! Then he meets the future emperor of yuan, and even if she has to protect him, I think she does because she actually cares. I think she starts to like him, if only he wouldn't have betrayed her then. He also thinks she's a boy and fall in love with her! Then they meet again, in his empire.
Who I ship?!
Gosh, i really tried to ship the main lead (king of goryo) but my heart lately goes straight to second leads (WTF!!!!) and I cannot NOT ship that idiot of emperor! He's soooooo... argh, I don't have words to describe his character. He's a very good character.
I mean, she will be Empress Ki, she will marry my adorate Emperor! So we can say that he's not a proper second lead. But even if she loves both the men, I think she will always love more the king of goryo :(
I absolutely recommend this drama.
50 episodes. It worries me a little bit.
But this show is having really high ratings, (I love ji chang wook coffcoff), go watch it!

Firstly love this so much!! Secondly this drama has me all confused about Khistory, SPOILER AHEAD, She, meaning, empress Ki marries Ta Hwan(in real life) who will later be Emperor Huizong of Yuan, right? But then Wang Yoo(in the drama) is in love with her. He would later be King Wang Yoo of Goryeo. Plus she is kinda in love with him too!!! Wah!!!! Also I researched this 'Wang Yoo of Goryeo' and all that comes up Gongnim of Goryeo and if this is really him, well he kinda ends up having this really romantic-beloved-love story with Queen Noguk(for references please wacth Faith). Anyway I'm tots confused!! OooOoottokaji!

It starts with this korean girl who pretend to be a boy, she's good at figthing etc. The story is in Goryeo era, she's going to fall in a love triangle with the goryeo king (korea) and yuan dinasty emperor (china). It tells her story, about ascending to power despite the restrictions of the era's class system. It's a good story, I can say that even if it's a 50 episodes drama it isnt boring at all.

I also wanted to wait as 6 episodes were out and I saw it had 50... But I couldn't. I wanted to watch just one ep... But I kept on watching. Just then 7 and 8 were uploaded, while I watched the second one. And I... watched them all. I always wait a whole week. And then I wait a whole week again. And again... And again. This drama really got me. But at the same time it breaks my heart to know she'll become Empress Ki... And I hope for a switch at the end. I want her to end up with Sire. Wang Yu x Seung Nyang (Nyang) = Perfect. Just... perfect. They are so in love. I don't get how she'll end up with that idiot emperor. Don't get me wrong, I know most of you ship that idiot. I loved him in the beginning and to be honest, I wanted them to be together. Yeah, I thought Togon (I almost forgot his name since everyone calls him "Your Majesty" or "The Emperor"!!!! :/ xD ) x Seung Nyang would be the perfect couple. But after what he's done to her (I'm not going to spoil anything) it's not funny anymore. It's not cool anymore. Running away from responsibility, saving his life through... No. Not spoiling. But it's hard. Okay, here's a little one: SPOILER SPOILER alert - don't read if you're going to watch it and don't want to know what will happen to Seung Nyang and the Emperor .
