Imo the growplots are a waste of space for a starter CV but each to their own. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out

Hey Jeff, if you wanna get more time out of your video card, consider pulling it apart and repasting the thermal paste on it. It's probably gotten dry and doesn't transfer the heat as well. There's a ton of tutorials online for pretty much every video card. Blow out the dust while you're in there. Thank you for all your content!

Well Jeff, What graphics card you running? I know you had problems a while back. Myself I just moved up from a GTX 1070FTW to a RTX 2080 XC Ultra. So far my temps have been maxing out at about 60 c. I hope you can get something that will work better for ya.

I am running a RTX 2080 at 3440x1440 res. I am fine in temps for the most part in most other games, but EGS was really taxing the video card usage a lot on planets, and temps would get to the low 80C's Then I manually kicked the fans up (3 fan after market card). It helped. The card was also blow out and cleaned. It's been decent again now, maybe something changed. But looking at temps, it runs warmer planet side by nearly 20C so I tend to build in space now. Also the graphics card is about 3 years old and gets used a lot. Thanks again!

Empyrion is just one of those games where you play for months, then stop. But then you either have a spark of an idea, or that pure itch to start building litterally anything, and just right back in lol.

Always love your ships, thing that I appreciate a lot if creators leave upgrade spots, especially for thrusters. As you play you will fill those ships and they become almost not usable. I would love to start building myself but don't have the time to figure those blocks, what goes with what. It drives me crazy as soon as I try, one set of blocks is on different tabs, I don't know. 😭

I would say SE is a bit more deep in creation building on a technical sense. This game however has more of a survival game with more places to go and things to do. I however have very little SE experience so I could be wrong. And thanks again!
