Hopefully this video wasn't too hard to follow along to, especially for those that are new to Davinci Resolve. I'd definitely recommend for you to first go the free route and see what you can do without having to spend money, then you can decide if you want to invest into a film emulation tool.

You're the man dude! Was so excited for this video to be published. I'll start experimenting with the free version and maybe get one of the paid ones as well. Since I'm not that experienced with davinci, it was sometimes hard to keep up with what you were doing with the nodes. Luckily this is yt and I can rewatch everything. Incredible work man, loved the footage

This is an unbelievably helpful and well put together video. As someone who just switched to Davinci and was excited about the coloring options you have made my day. I am about to call a friend and spend the day following this video and seeing how well we can do with our first real try at film emulation.

I always keep coming back to this video every so often because it is absolutely the best I've seen on color grading emulation of filmic 16 & 32mm on this platform so far. I wish you would have shown how you made that powergrade from scratch (I already purchased your powergrade but I love seeing stuff where it goes into the thinking behind every step). I have a small audience on my channel that focuses on mostly music production tutorials (if not mostly just sharing my music); but what I've noticed when making sound design tutorials is that people are less interested in how I made it, they just want the preset lol. So even if you made the tutorial on how you made the powergrade, some people (including me sometimes when I'm in a pinch) just want the sound preset, or in your case, the powergrade/LUTs - which, by the way is good for business if you have a store. So it wouldn't affect if people will purchase your powergrade or not because most people are kinda lazy and would just rather have the shortcut.

For those looking for a from scratch tutorial, it starts at 7:20 :) Also, If there are enough of y’all that are on Premier pro, Final Cut Pro, etc., I can work on also selling the LUT by itself and converting my looks into a lut pack. So let me know if that would be something a lot of you all would be interested in! Edit: the LUT pack is now available in my store! partner.shopmoment.com/9gEOeY Best, serr

Hey there, a few qestions if you don't mind. 1. Would your powergrade work on the free version of davinci? 2. Would it work if the footage was filmed in HLG rather than a log? CST REC2020 to REC709 i'd assume?
