Great video. As an Ajax fan. We probably will be in some shit for longer. Overmars left 2 years ago. We had a Technical director for 4 months, Mislintat. He then got fired for completely not fitting in the club. And this was after already 2 horrendous summer transfer windows. Vd Sar left almost a year ago. We just got a new CEO 1 month ago. But he is already on non active now. Because of shares buying when it wasn't allowed. And a huge fight within the club is going over what to do with him now. So we are ending our season without a new coach for the next year. Without a Technical Director. Without a CEO. What we do have is a completely unbalanced and unhappy squad. With alot of players who came for big money needing to leave. At the same time Ajax needs to downsize alot on salaries and costs. All the while therr are no people in charge to do it.

Nonetheless, you missed two crucial parts as well: the fuckups in the board room who allowed everything going awry and making poor judgements on the technical/football side of the club; and a mismatch between technical director Mislintat and the club, resulting in a poorly balanced squad where the quality of the players and whether they fit together, is highly debatable.

Great video! But I think you stepped over a big factor in this seasons misery. And thats Sven Mislintat, the football director who came at the beginning of this season who has burned a lot of money by buying players who didnt fit in the team. There was even a lot of drama on the transfer of Borna Sosa, which could've been a conflict of interest. He was also the man hiring Maurice Steijn. And allegedly very demanding and rude to the people working with and around him. Not a very populair man.
