This is exactly what today's culture needs. I just finished watching movie. With the media today telling everyone how evil and privileged white people are this is the kind of movie that falls directly in line with the narrative. There wasn't one white person in this movie that wasn't a killer, or a racist piece of shit or both. Not one. I thought at the very end that the waitress was a nice white person but nope it has a Hispanic women. They couldn't put one friendly non racist white person in the movie? Unpopular opinion : in horror or action movies where the character hears a strange noise or something , or sees something unsual , saying you should just go and hide and not check out any suspicious sound and commotion in your house at night or wherever , is not actually what happens in real life scenarios , people saying that they would prefer that probably never encountered something like that before , IRL we actually want to check whats going on to know that whatever it is is not an emergency situation or something . We want to know if its coming our way , is it just nothing or is it something dangerous for our own safety . its not curiousity . Its worry . I will say that I do like Q.L. I've seen many of her movies and she doesn't disappoint. All four did a great job in their roles and this story I must say wasn't new at all and that was ok. The ending did make my heart beat a little faster which I enjoyed. It never fails to see so many people treat others disrespectfully all because of the colour of their skin and differences in thoughts and cultures. Haven't we learned yet - all this drama, hatred, waste of lives is so old to me and it's just not necessary. No it isn't - reasonable, decent law abiding people all over the world want to coexist, share, love and help and grow. It's a natural human need and some still just don't get with the program. That saddens me as in the age of social media as well as with all of the conveniences and choices we have at our fingertips we still act like uneducated people. Come on - we all know better don't we? I think so... Thanks.
