Aloha Maya. I'm basically just picking out books for my essential 2025 TBR. I'm reading Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy at the moment. And I will generally read som Christmas stories closer to the day but 2024 has been a super busy year for me. So im glad its coming to a close. I really need to take lie down with my kindle. @@spreadbookjoy thank you Jack, I really need to study this book because ultra processed food in the 80s caused me to gain 70 pounds and I still suffer the after effects even though I lost the weight. Aloha friend.

I heartily endorse Kim’s recommendation for Ultra Processed People. It’s great on audio: the author reads it and his experience as a television presenter is evident. There are also cameo performances by his twin in the audio production.

@@lindysmagpiereads hi Lindy, I found that a food I ate for breakfast. Every day was at least minimally processed or more. I’m bummed because I thought it was 100% all wheat, but it wasn’t. I’m trying to eat mostly unprocessed food, which is hard in the US.😀. Aloha friend.

@@theresepazell7875 Hi Therese, yes, it’s darker here as well, but not like where my daughter lives in Minnesota where it gets dark at 4:30. We usually have an extra hour here. Happy holidays and aloha friend.
