Actually, if you look closely at the video, at 1:51 the guitarist set down the Jazzmaster behind an amp (presumably his), and picked up a Stratocaster from behind the drums. The Strat was the one that took the beating.

- That's not a Jaguar, it's actually a Jazzmaster, you can tell by the knobs, pickups and pickguard - he picked up a Strat to break it instead of the Jazzmaster "Kurt didn't destroyed his Jaguar" Well he sure beated the F outta it
