To me, there's really something beautiful about, just, how completely spontaneous, and "alive" this song is, despite it probably being the last thing you hear before you die. The original was recorded as complete improv, and basically all live performances are just loosely based on that. Nobody can agree on what the lyrics are, and all of the most popular interpretations are nonsensical. Depending on how you play the song, it can be four minutes long, or it can be twelve. It'll last exactly how long it has to last.

tbf the clips used in the negative creep video barely show live parts where negative creep is even actually being played on the guitar. some parts of the clips show what is likely endless nameless but not all of them. so if anything they’re equally pointless but who cares.
