Endurance Touring Cars is Peak Forza Motorsport

As a Noob to sim racing, I thought I'd share my Forza Touring Car experiences, my wins, my loses and my wtf moments. I try to explain my thought process and hopefully provide you with a learning guide or useful tips.
My strategy is simple, stay alive at all cost. We all know Forza Motorsport can be a little chaotic at times. I hope with a more passive tactic, I can swoop in and take the position. While also improving my own skills as a sim racing driver.
Track learning is key, hopefully by reviewing my race choices and my mistakes, I can help others learn and improve upon their lap times. Thus making the racing world more fun and competitive.
I am using a G920 Logitech wheel, and playing Forza Motorsport on PC using Xbox Game pass. I do not have the VIP, or cars pass, this is the basic game as available to everyone.
I do hope you all enjoy the content, Racing and Sim racing is great fun and helps you escape the harsh reality of the life.

Endurances races brought me back. Loving it, and mostly full lobbies for a change. I hope Turn 10 see the popularity and make it permanent.

it is such a game changer, Although the touring lobby was a little slim on players, usually like you say they are full. I think they may do bud as it like you say seems extremely positive. Shame so many quit, Which i did discuss in a previous video they need to change the end race timer and maybe look into making the penalties for of track not so harsh. that may help stop players leaving when they do not get the best of starts.

Yeah A it does seem a popular request. also another request is multi class racing, maybe LMP and GT would be great. OR GT TC that would also be great multiclass racing. I do hope they seem the popularity and push upon it

So painful, I held first place for so long lol, I should have pitted earlier for mediums. I was unsure on how long they would last in total. So i played it a little to safe. Its nice that me and P1 messaged a good few times after the race :D great to see and meet awesome players.

Nice video, thoroughly enjoying the commentary you're doing with tips on brake points, cornering lines and gears, not to mention the fairness. I did a few of the endurances in GTX and the Proto-h the last two weeks, and it seems the 2 stop strategy with 3 stints on hards does the best results consistently, with 3 stops only being needed by the very tire-hunry cars. Looks like its the same for TC judging by this race.

Thanks bud much appreciated. Yeah it does seem the same in all races. If a car is a tire monster then its 3 stops but if you can tire save and keep pace then you do save at least 30 seconds by not pitting. which is a huge saving in reality

Yes somehow I can finally feel this game better at least. Of course there's still some performance issues on the Series X including loading menuu, textures and lights effects but if they will continue to made this game better then I don't see any point to get back frequently for games like ACC or GT7 which normally play on my second PS5 console.

I get you bud. You should see it on pc it isn’t much better. Don’t get me wrong I am not putting the game down but series s and x out perform it on start up and loading into a race. It was made for console and pc users but again time will only improve things like you say. To be fair though the game is starting to also look so much better. The lighting improvements and some car visuals are gradually being updated as we speak so they are working hard in the background. I get you bud. I have to be honest though the game has never been better as it is. Those endurance races are amazing. The little tweaks they’re making are creating a huge difference and given a little more time. I think it’ll be finding its feet and really the only way is up. I cannot compare to gt7 but I do have acc on pc and I rarely play it. It’s great and visually astonishing but I don’t know. There is something about forza I cannot put my finger on that I really enjoy. :)

Love how everyone always talks what shit Forza "still is"..... I play this thing on a rig and have the steering wheels settings dialed in. Sure, they're convoluted and a bit stupid....... But the way people rave on and on about AC/ACC being so much more advanced in the realistic feel and physics department.....yeah right. Driver a real car. None of these games get it quite right. And I think if people are honest Forza gets a lot more right in that department than people give it credit for.

^^^^ Exactly this, me and a friend of mine who is a Alien of a driver was talking about exactly this. Although ACC is seem better with the way the car holds the road, I find FM a little to tail happy which once this is sorted it sorts the RWD cars out but What we both agree on is once the wheel settings are dialled in, the feel of it, especially in TC far more realistic. Lets be honest though it works on both wheel and controller flawlessly, no one is at an advantage for using a wheel or controller. They are both very similar and you do see hear and feel the limits. Yeah I do think FM gets a little to much hate still, I mean i remained positive throughout, there is a lot of could and should for improvement, but those improvements are coming and each month is just getting better and better. I did not enjoy the older titles after FM4, but tried this one and I fell in love with the way it feels on a wheel. I have AC, ACC iracing etc etc. even after all that. My main is FM each to their own of course but I love it lol All the best bud :D

What I think Forza excels at is the way the car bounces, bumps, pitches and rolls a bit when they're taking corners. You really notice how it gets this right on that last crazy bumpy turn before the line on Sebring. I find ACC the car is very flat, lifeless and neutral. Akin to those first person games that move completely smooth when you walk, rather than having a slight up and down camera motion. If that makes sense

Yeah exactly bud, they have made it so well. one thing coming from ACC to Fm was in acc you do not touch the kerbs. It was so hard to re learn that i can use kerbs, especially at kyalami lol, that kerb second to last corner that you can cut. You do that in ACC and you go to the moon, In FM you hear a scary crunch lol. I get you bud

I have tried ACC on controller and compared to FM it feels very unrealistic there, so I think it is impressive how Forza gets both working decent, controller + wheel, while Sim's only focus on wheel. I think ACC is a bit overrated there since FM has a really good tire model which can easily compete with ACC, I remember it was one of the core features that was built from the ground up for the new game.

Yeah bud they are really hitting the nails right on the head at the moment. I haven't played ACC in a while last time i played it there were some crazy setups that gave incredible grip lol

Yeah it’s not for everyone. What do you prefer ??? The Subaru is a good choice though. Does surprise a lot of people.

good racing, possibly should have held out a lap longer on your first two stints but you never know with these races how well others cope with tyre wear

Exactly man. I was more hoping on the mediums I could catch up I was so close lol. Either that or pitted 1 lap earlier and made mediums last longer

The Endurance Racing should be multi-class not single class... but if this is good racing i don't see it... its just testdriving. so little stay the 5 to 4 players left at the end is telling how so little want to do these. the Long Races 30 min races feel nicer 1 hour just seem like a waste when everyone crashes and leaves and when you get a almost full lap lead on the field....... what's the point..

I think so too, it would be so nice to have endurances races with full competitive lobbies in Forza and no quitting, but we have to face the truth that Forza is not really a game with many Pro Players like iRacing or ACC have. Also it is still not enough balanced in terms of cars to keep it close over 1h. Hopefully the game will become more popular again in some time.

Every endurance race I enter in everybody quits. Usually about 2 to 3 people finish the race. It seems like everybody has participation trophy, problem where if they’re not in first place they’re not wanting to finish the race. Right now, my fantec wheel does not except fifth gear. Has been working for eight months Forza just done an update and now fifth gear does not work. There’s multiple things not working in Forza. This game is complete garbage. How did this game get debuted in the state? I have no idea. The game is not fun and is unplayable but yet we spent tons of money to play it.

Biggest issue I say is how far the leader gets away. Anymore than 2 minutes what’s the point in finish as you end with a dnf. Also penalties play a huge part. The start of a race can be clumsy. And if you’re on the receiving end of a penalty it really does annoy you lol. Still there are lobby’s that people do not quit it is a shame many do. It has been thrown around that if you do quit it should affect your money or rating. That’s odd how 5th gear does not work. Like it’s paddle lol. I’ve had a totally different experience. I haven’t had many issues or errors to talk about. So from my end it has only got better. Yeah the release wasn’t the best. Seems to be a trend with most games now. But it has improved a lot. It’s a shame that you have been on the wrong end and having really odd issues bud.

Nah bud. They’re as strong as ever now everything else has been nerfed lol the only thing now that makes an Audi sweat is the lynk and the levorg. Rest is down to skill, luck and then more skill lol

Yeah i do have to dive back and retune the car man, Yeah man I like you, I usually drive the slow cars, I must say I really enjoy astra. I am going through them all, driving them for a few weeks and moving on after. If your interested its in my previous videos. what is your go to car.

@@Flashms generally i also go for the astra, i have a video up myself of winning on the nordschleife by quite a big chunk in the astra lol occasionally also use the Peugeot now that its been nerfed lol

​@@M-hq9xzalso the lobbies are populated or are there not enough players to get full lobbies? I play Gran Turismo 7 online and the lobbies are always full , but I want a fun racer on PC as well playable on controller (something you can't really do in ACC)

@@manostororosso2364 Mostly lobbies are full, especially at prime time. I can definitely recommend this game, it is fun and the graphics look very nice👍 Controller feels very well.

Yea lobbies mostly full, especially at European prime time. The game has very nice graphics and feels really good on controller, I can really recommend it. It is a lot of fun, especially in Multiplayer.😊 I think GT7 and FM will be a good complement to each other.
