Okay so I'm just wondering, I know that there are very very VERY drastic differences between the male and female build and yes using brains over strength for women in things like horror is great but... what about females in anime or superhero stuff they have women and men fighting characters much bigger and stronger looking than them but win but it just confuses me because yes you have a point about real world females very rarely being able to match up to males but saying it's unbelievable for a 90 pound looking woman to beat a full grown man but you have characters like Daredevil or Batman fighting and beating down people much bigger and with super strength like King Pin and Bane so wouldn't that also be unbelievable Look I hate girl bosses in movies, games and what not when they are badly written or replace the main lead of a series but I just find the saying "I find it unbelievable for any women to be a man" just a bit off I mean you got characters like Chun Li, Mirko, Sonya Blade, Wonder Woman, and etc I know there are females who have powers but by what you said it would mean all pf these characters and what they do is unbelievable and again they are male characters like Luffy, Naruto, Spiderman, Leon Kennedy, etc who also can have powers but by the logic that if you have a weaker build then your opponent then you can't beat then in a fist fight which while those like Batman and Spiderman do use their brains they also beat the shit out of people much bigger and stronger hell Luffy beats the hell out of giants you could chock it up to powers but again Batman and Daredevil are just peek men fighting super humans (also side note in the games characters like Lara Croft and Nathan Drake who are both just superposed to be human can lift and push things weighing several tones like a 27 tone piece of the pyramids or a 20 ton builder so then both of these characters would be unbelievable) So if you see this or if anyone sees this can you give me your thoughts I'm not supporting forcing in more bad girl bosses in stuff to replace or whatever I just want to know if females and even males with lesser builds beating up much bigger and stronger people and doing things normal humans can't then doesn't that make a lot of characters just unbelievable by what you said

Female heroes are awesome: Theron's Furiosa, Xena, Scully, Rita from Edge of Tomorrow, Alice from Resident Evil, Vasquez and Ripley (Aliens), Sarah Conner (T2), Buffy Summers, Mulan (1998), Beatrix (Kill Bill), etc. Fully developed characters (of any sex) in well written scripts are great. People focused entirely on political messaging aren't capable of compelling character arcs. They themselves never change, so they don't know how to write characters capable of it. Yes, but what made the problem way worse and helped it get pushed as hard as it was and now is, was because of “the customers around them”! Because almost all of the “wokeness” started in CA! So if they went by what the public around them were saying then “technically” they were listening to the target audience!?! And since it was slowly introduced each time a new movie/show came out most people didn’t see it or they just ignored it! And because they kept getting everyone’s money all they were hearing was “yes! More! This is great”! It’s only now that it is just way too obvious and almost impossible to ignore it ( “ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE”! NOT impossible) that a lot of people are pushing back against it! And it is far too late now for it to be fixed without A LOT of things needing to happen! I’m sorry, this was a bit longer than I was planning!

But by overpowering them isn’t 1 of them! A franchise as big as the 007 movies there are many ways they can make a great movie! But if it just “feels like a ripoff” then that’s all we are going to see! Furiosa is actually a really good quality movie and prequel. Great acting, good action. I think it did a good job of worldbuilding and telling an entertaining story. Anya Taylor Joy and Chris Hemsworth did a great job. Give the movie a chance before hating on it, because it’s the rare exception that doesn’t deserve it. In fact, I think Furiosa is an actual example of how to show strong female characters in an authentic and entertaining style that isn’t taking away from male characters or the IP. The movie really doesn’t diminish Mad Max as a character or IP and if anything adds to the world itself. I’m just saying people should watch this one before jumping to conclusions.

George Lucas hit the nail on the head. It's not that we don't think women can make good action heroes. It's that they need to play up the RIGHT kind of strengths because if you take a good look at even the male heroes, there were times their brawn was not good enough either, so they used their brains. Seeing resourcefulness and brains be used as an asset can be cool to watch too especially when you call back to the elaborate traps Kevin McCallister who just a boy came up with in order to take down two adult men. I, a woman myself, don't want to see a girl boss. I want to see a woman leader.

Most games I have purchased fall into two categories: learning experiences about what I don't like, or hundreds (if not thousands) of hours played. Civ 3, Fallout 1-4 (Missed Vegas somehow), Homeworld, Total Warhammer 2&3, Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts... Minecraft... Dawn of War, Starcraft, Diablo 2, Final Fantasy 8&9, Skyrim, Wolfenstein, and lastly, Stellaris. Almost 30 years of PC gaming and these are the mainstays of what I find entertaining. Sure, I did Counterstrike back in the day, and played the hell out of Empire Earth, Rise of Nations, Age of Empires, and the OG Kings of RTS... most modern games just lack something, idunno... whimsical. Latest FPS I play is Hunt, but after watching dudes from 2/22 getting TPK'd in Modern Warfare 2, my ardor for the genre is all but non-existent.

BIG one. Like a game boss, who cannot be defeated in a straigt fight and need cunning, planning, plot armor, etc. to do so.
