Seifer from FFVIII. **FFVIII spoilers ahead** That guy cut Squall's face in a training exercise at the beginning of the game (then got cut back), he sabotages the Dollet mission to prove his pride, abandons Balamb Garden and terrorizes the Timber broadcasting station to hold the Galbadian president hostage, then gets tempted and captured by the sorceress. You then discover Seifer's been executed, but later on it turns out he has been made the Sorceress's Knight, so now he's not just a rogue Garden student but directly working against Squall and party. He imprisons the party in the middle of the desert, launches missiles at Balamb Garden, leads a huge battle against Balamb Garden while aboard Galbadia Garden with the sorceress, pilots Lunatic Pandora to Esthar to initiate the Lunar Cry which floods the world with monsters from the moon, kills your Odin GF, and ultimately takes Rinoa hostage (whom he used to date) to feed her to Sorceress Adel in order to revive her so she can be possessed by Ultimecia. And he keeps calling Zell "chicken-wuss"!!! He does all these terrible things, and he's not even the main antagonist! That guy had it coming.

Handsome Jack in Borderlands 2. I recently hopped back on to one of my characters, and it started me at the Bloodwing boss fight. It turns out that I had done nearly the rest of the game with my friend on his profile, so I went from Bloodwing straight to Jack and the Warrior. It never felt so good to kill him.

My cousin has a personal "hate story" with the jaguars on GTA V. Since we were kids there's this little in-game challenges we make to ourselves, and the one on that particular day was "who could survive the most time on 5 stars". I was winning, but he was VERY close to beating my score. After driving like a madman towards the mountains to run from those SUVs with the S.W.A.T lads holding onto them (those guys are such a joy to hit with the car, on a side note), his car had its last tire blown up, and so he had to proceed on foot. In 1 minute he would win the challenge, when (to my luck) a wild jaguar approached him from behind and oneshot him to the "Wasted" screen. I remember the controller almost got thrown to the wall in frustration, and to this day if my cousin sees a jaguar on GTA V he HAS to kill them. Not for a challenge, but because he likes to think that he's making that particular one suffer imagining those are that jaguar's family members lol

The one enemy that really got under my skin, or three I should say, were Havelock, Pendleton, and Martin from Dishonored. They spend the whole game helping you find young Emily and get the people responsible for killing the empress and framing you. Only to find out, they were only using you to get real power and control over the empire. The worst thing is not knowing when they decided upon this betrayal, if they planed this from the very start that I'm just an idiot for trusting them, but if they decided to do this at some point between your escape and your rescue of Emily, then that makes it so much worse and so much more infuriating.

I was instantly reminded of Grandia (PS1), currently replaying it as the HD remaster. I absolutely loathed Mr. Chang, a very easy boss early on, but as a kid he troubled me and the whole setting of him as the only way to let my frustration about the events out because you can't punish his boss who is disgusting makes me grind two extra hours beforehand to this day. Fight rarely lasts longer than two minutes now.

The final collosus in Shadow of the Collosus. I spent so many hours exploring this forbidden land with Aggro, that when he didnt make the jump to reach the final area, I was devastated. I had been intimidated by some of the previous bosses up to this point, and the final one was pretty scary-looking, but my resolve was stronger than ever. It is definitely Valmar from Grandia 2. Through to game you are fighting remnants of him only to fight him in the end of the game. The stories behind the remnant pieces make it personal. He is a boss that has used love, dreams, hope, righteousness, and he bent them to his needs.

My personal nemesis was the Black Knight at the top of the stairs in the first level of Demon's Souls. That guy killed me so many times before I managed to take him down. Now it's like no big thing, but when you're first learning the ropes that guy is *hard*.

Another good one is the Prince of Orzammar, Bhelen Aeducan from Dragon Age Origins. In the dwarf origin story he fames you for your brother's Trian death buys off the Assembly and sentenced you to death by exile to the deep roads. Bhelen then tries to usurp the throne of Orzammar after King Endrin dies. Bhelen then sends his goons after you when you return to Orzammar as a Grey Warden. In the end if Harrowmont is named king he stages a coup and tries to kill you and the Assembly.

I’d say Baron Praxis from Jack 2. Right off the bat he’s tortured you for 2 years, injected you with dark echo for becoming a soldier. Throughout the game he’s made it a point he’s for the people but doing dirty things and wants you dead. You hate him and definitely want to kill him, then it turns out he was trying to prevent an outbreak of war by negotiating with the head Metal Head( which backfired). He was someone you hated for what he did to you, but deep down you feel his motives/ then you beat down the big bug 😎

You're in the middle of a battle, you're trying to use Devour or Card, you get the enemy to a miniscule amount of health... NOPE Gilgamesh appears and kills them... And you can't stop him...
