SORAYA SHARP If u have a loose leaf, you can use it once, maybe twice, or sprinkled onto a charcoal (no, not bbq charcoal). Most often you’ll find sage (Palo Santo, etc.) in a smudge stick, light it, let it catch until lit well, then wave it (or blow it) to let the flames die down & then when you wave it (either with the bundle) or if you may have a smudge fan) & let the smoke 💨 billow. I usually wave it in a counterclockwise circle around my head, my body and under my feet (to clear my path)- then again clockwise to bless. Or you can wave it in any different way comfortable to you. After awhile you will develop your own ways to do things in a natural way that will help your energies to flow. For a house cleansing you would open your doors, begin at your front door, circling counterclockwise (to the left, to the left...(lol) around and through each room, finally finishing back in the room & door you’ve began at. It’s nice to seal it with a protection at the door. (Just simply, energetically, with a motion that comes naturally to you. For some it’s a cross, a pentagram, the 4 directions/elements, or even just holding your hands out, like stop ✋. Again, you’ll find the way for yourself. And it will change throughout the years of practice.) I hope this assists you or anyone else. Enjoy . 🐉

I currently have one dark and one light spirit in my home and their energies have been dormant for the last 6 months or so but now they're making themselves known. We have been saging but I dont want to get rid of the light/positive energy because I believe he is protecting us from the female dark one. My 9 year old can't stand whenever I smudge and gets so bothered by the sage even when it's in the house not lit! Either he's extra sensitive or that means even more that I need to smudge our space because he's so opposed to it. I either buy palo santo and it's not a really thick smoke it's actually really light or I'll get a bundle of dried flowers for smudging and clearing all that negative out, for my cards though, everything else I use sage, and palo santo, yes palo santo takes out just the negative out and when i burn it i actually feel a stronger positive energy. So glad you did this because so many don't understand what energies need to be cleared or saved, and recharged. This was great.

I've smudged for awhile from intuition, do it once, sometimes twice a month. I do it in the mornings and when I came me home, the whole place feels so clean and balanced. Seen this video and figured I'd see how others do it. While I smudge, I invite light, love, balance and clarity. I didn't know to only do it once a year. I do it when ever the knowing comes to do it. So excited for this video because I am in the process of moving into a new apartment, and I want to create a very sacred and clean space as I move in. They burn Frankincense & Myrrh Catholic (& many Christian) Churches, (another awesome, highly spiritual blend)- and various insences in Temples, etc. Native Cultures worldwide have their own favorites. Ive been going through some of the same and then i remembered i used to light incense with a different attitude, which means most likely my spirits were different. So for a couple days i lit incense thinking , saying, feeling “peace” or “energy” or i would say and think “lord i need to get my life together!” lol. Whatever i needed at the moment. Then it came to me that i also ued to clean up with different intentions, feelings, which means my spirits were different. Now when i clean up i say (once again) let me get my life together. It helped a bit and i think its about being mindful of where my spirits are, how do i feel. Cleaning with the intent of clearing negative energy i think would help.

Hey BehatiLife😍 I have a question should I clean my house before smudging my house or can I do it before??? I’m trying to get rid of clutter and stuff I do not need! I get sooo drained just by looking at clutter but I have to start somewhere so I got some sage to get rid of old negative energy. I really appreciate this video because I wasn't aware of the alternatives. I was wondering if the sage essential oils you sell can be used in a diffuser? I use it often with a lot of different essential oils. I don't wanna sound strange but I find myself saging my home a lot more often now because I'm renting a house and myself as well as my kids on occasion, hear a lot of different noises or sounds like someone's walking upstairs or candles will fall out of no where onto the floor. Other objects tend to fall when no one is touching or near them. Our TV will flicker or go fuzzy just for a moment the resume back to normal. Our dogs seem to get distracted by something out of no where as well. Only myself and my kids experience these things, my husband never does, which I find weird. We learned earlier in the first couple years that a young girl who had just had a baby was living here with her friend and her family, she left her baby and went out walking to meet her boyfriend who was also the father of her baby, crossed a busy street and got killed by being hit by a car. We happened to find this all out because detectives and attorneys came around asking us questions about whether certain residents who lived here were still here or been coming around. Which all I found really strange! I found out later by another detective that the investigation was because the witnesses at the time of her accident stated that they saw the girl fighting with her boyfriend and was pushed out into the street at the time she was killed. I don't know if any of the history of the house has anything to do with the strange occurrences but we do sense some strange vibes from time to time. Hope this adds some clarity to why I sage and smudge on occasion. If someone has any helpful hints or ideas I'd appreciate your thoughts.

I first heard of this practice from my Native American family in New Mexico and they told me it was used traditionally in New homes for protection and cleansing from old spirits/energy lingering in the home. However the way you explained it I was wondering if it can work as a magic trick so like if my partner comes into a room and yells at me and I'm upset will cleansing the space with sage clear my mind and help me emotionally reset and move on????
