I’m all about modern warfare, but something about those old time rifles with a bayonet hit the soul

A beautiful rifle and bayonet. Good shoting! I love the sound of the mag when the bolt picks up a new round to the chamber.

YYYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHH BEST BOLT RIFLE EVER MADE

Hi, I am British, and I am so proud that we invented this bad ass rifle. Magazines can also be loaded into the rifle, so you don't need to waste time on the battlefield with stripper clips. Also, the bolt has an internal spring attached , which makes it rather quick to pull back the bolt, giving you the opportunity to almost turn the rifle into a semi automatic.

Magazines weren’t intended to be loaded into the rifle, and the noises of the stripper clips are beautiful.

The spring doesn't help to rack the bolt, it cock the striker. The spring only pushes the bolt backward if the gun is already cocked, wish it isn't after you fired. One thing that make the action of the Enfield faster than other bolt action of it's time is because it's cock on close which is mechanically faster to operate, and the bolt has a 60° rotation compared to the 90° of typical bolt action of this time.

@Beowulf__ actually British troops during ww2 were armed with magazines too by the way!

This guy is used to things like Mausers and Springfields. The SNLE does not require lifting your cheek from the stock to reload.
