Time attacks at 5 different courses done in 1996. East Ebisu course time attack was done by Keiichi Tsuchiya with time 1:09.29. The Integra Type R DC2 was fully stock, only the toe alignment was slightly modified in the front.

Love how Tsuchiya criticized the small rim diameter and recommended to use 16 inch rims in the future which Honda did with the 98' Spec.

I'm wondering that would today's 15" sports tyres like AD08R or Z2 could cope up with the issues they mention because the shoulders and the grip are much stronger than tyres 20 years ago.

KR!RK i believe they had the toyo proxes r1rs back then and they are really good even by todays standards. Drift king give them almost a perfect ten. I have them in 225/45/15 and work great both at the strip and track.

they predicted the future. i had sir´s and the 195/50/15 is too small in them let alone itr

Running a 205/50/15 on my 96 spec and it's the right balance for a vehicle that is street driven.
