As we are all home now, I decided to release a video on Pranayamas that you can all do in the comfort of your house. This video is in English.

Practicing pranayama everyday will gradually help to improve the breathing capacity and help you take long and deep breaths

Madam, I have allergic rhinitis...how many times I hv to do Surya Anuloma Viloma to get relief... will it cure this problem or I hv to do it every day?

Hello Kay Bek, You can practice Surya nadi pranayamas- 9 rounds each. Allergic rhinitis can be due to many reasons like hereditary influence, pollution, pollens. It depends on from when and for what you are having IT. If it is something that is recently developed due to pollution then it can be cured completely. But if it is due to hereditary influence and been there since a long time/ childhood then it is a bit difficult to cure completely. I would strongly recommend practice of jala neti once a week, pranayamas and breathing exercises everyday. Include more Vitamin C in your diet.i.e. Orange, moosambi, pineapple,lemon.

Hello Usha, Thank you for your message. Usha have you checked why the child has nasal sounds? Usually when they have breathing issues or have blocked nose / sinuses they sound nasal. Hello mam I am from MYSURU i am suffering from Maltipal seriosis I am under medication but doctor advice me to take tablet up to 5 year's give me some suggestions about this.

Hello Lakshmi V, Multiple sclerosis is a neurological disorder and I think you will have to continue your doctor's advice of taking medication for a long time. But please do practice yoga. Yoga has been found to be beneficial in reducing the progress and effects of this condition. There are many researches done on benefits of yoga in Multiple sclerosis condition. So please continue your practice especially pranayamsa, breathing techniques and loosening exercises. Please let me know if you need further guidance or help. I am happy to guide you. Madam, Your style of demonstration is mind capturing,for, it is simple yet , highly effective.I thank your kind self for reply.One more qustion has remained,ie, when there is mild cold,is it safe to practise yoga and Pranayamas? Awaiting reply, thank you .(I am a retired District Judge).

Hello Amitha, there are no particular yoga practices for varicose veins. You can elevate your legs while sleeping , practice single leg raising exercise twice a day.

Great video Madam I have doubt about Surya/ Chandra bedhana & anulomaviloma pranayaama How should one breadth. During these particular pranayama Active ( forceful) inhale& exhale Or Normal Inhalation & Normal Exhalation Kindly answer.

During Surya bedhana you should inhale from right nostril and exhale through left nostril while in Chandra bedhana you inhale through left and exhale through right. In Surya anulomavioloma you inhale and exhale both through right nostril and in Chandra anulomavioloma inhale and exhale through left. An inhale is actively taking one single breath into your lungs whilst an exhale is ensuring all the air from that single breath is released. Hope that clarifies it for you

In today's practice i coming across all viral patients along with covid positive patient how can deal with it. I mean which pranayams will help me to overcome stress and improve my immunity..

It was awesome, very clearly explained.. i feel that my body is a more if heat in it.. so can I only do the cooling prayanama..leaving the other two which are heating and balancing.

Hi Praveen, thank you for your comment. It is better to do one or two rounds of heating and balancing and whilst concentrating more on cooling. Rather then completely ignoring.
