I am 70 years old retired army personnel from Kolkata. Though I am senior to you in age, I call you Guruji as you are my teacher here. However, my submission to you is would you please prepare a complete one hour package including prayanama for people of our age. The Pranayama are all correct, the correct order in which they should be performed should be 1. Kapalbhati 2. Bhastrika 3. Anulom Vilom 4. Bhramari Pranayama

I must caution people. Yoga poses/pranayama etc are not a pill you can take. Some of these poses have subtle but profound impact on your energy body. Pranayama especially is meant for an advance student. It is a double edged sword. For a beginner pawan mutkthasa series along with gentle deep breathing can be practiced safely assuming you follow yama and niyamas. Next could be surya namaskar starting with a round and gradully moving upto 3-6 .. Anything else please consult some one competent. Also remember, any kind of exercises cannot rectify a bad diet. So first start eating right and rest/sleep right before you attempt anything.

Do check out Prashanth Sir's Yoga for knee pain, and another video for Flexible Joints. I am 60. Helped me heal my knee pain, and improved flexibility all over. (Had earlier tried out ayurveda medicines and oil massage but none had helped.) Once again Many Thanks to Guruji for his detailed videos. Really grateful to him for this service to mankind 🙏🙏

Wow could only hold my breath for about 10 seconds, after taking a deep inhalation (but strangely I think I could of held more but my mind 'freaked out' and I had to take a breath of air) I need to practice pranayama more! 🙏 Incorporating it into my daily routine. Thank you!

Immensely grateful for these teachings. In the Nadi Shodan video it is mentioned that nadi shodan is preparatory to pranayam. Here we see Kapalbathi performed before nadi shodan. Does anyone know if it is appropriate to start with Nadi Shodan and can we modify the order of these pranayam or should one maintain the sequence as seen in this video? Thanks in advance to those who can answer!

I have watched this video multiple times and wondering if you can expand on the order of these three practices. you start with kapalbhati, then nadi shodhan and then bhastrika…cleansing and purifying anamaya, pranmaya and then manomaya kosha. is this order the best or it doesn’t matter? what are the pranayama for channeling and harmonizing pranas? namaste!

Respected Prashanth Sir, You have posted a very nice Video about Morning pranayam. Really it is a very useful n informative Vedic to keep our mind n body healthy. I am very much impressed with your explanation of doing Asanas in a very procedural way n the benefits by doing pranayam. Further the atmosphere you do yoga or pranayam is very impressive. Overall your teaching method is simple,procedural, excellent n mind blowing. Keep posting exercises or pranayam videos for the following problems mentioned below 1. IBS problem 2. Urinary incontinence. 3. To improve Nervous debility 4. Vericos veins. Thanks once again Sir for sharing this video with humble regards.
