Hello, it’s Duidui here. Today we gonna make savory Tibetan butter tea. You might have tried sweet milk tea, but have you tried savory one? Please let me know in the comments
Normally Tibetan butter tea only use 3 ingredients: butter, tea and salt. But my grandparents always make luxury version with all additional ingredients. The flavor and fat in nuts can add more layers to the butter tea.

Ingredients:
• Pu‘er tea leaves
• 500ml water
• 1 tbsp of cultured butter
• 2 tsp of roasted peanuts crumbs (or other nuts)
• 1 egg (optional)
• 1 tsp of salt

Steps:
• Add Puer tea leaves into boiling water, boil the tea for couple of minutes
• Crush the roasted peanuts into fine crumbs
• Pour the tea into blender
• Add 1tbsp of cultured butter
• Add 2 tsp of peanuts crumbs or other nuts crumbs
• Add 1 egg (optional)
• Add 1 pinch of salt
• Blend it well
• Savory Tibetan butter tea is ready
