Boxers: Loose fit, mostly worn as loungewear because of "freedom of motion" :^) Trunks: Snug fit, shorter in terms of length compared to boxers, below the waist start to thigh coverage, allegedly more sex appeal (?) Briefs: Short and fitted, don’t cover the inner part of the thighs, completely different shape too lol

"briefs" is american english while "trunks" is british english for the same tight kind of men's underwear, but more generally people also use "trunks" to refer to shorts

brief= basically man panties boxer = shorts as underwear trunk = basically inbetween of brief and boxer but shorter than the existing hybrid brief boxer found the detailed article actually, but i kinda know the difference cause my family are all brief kind and they kinda also tried trunk for a short while
