I love low budget stock suzuki engine rebuilds, I've done several and have been pretty lucky using the basic testing procedures for each component. I'm actually in the middle of a rusty lj50 body restoration and have been enjoying going back on the videos from your lj80 series. I hope this engine build goes well for you!

You have the wrong intake and carburetor for the car. They are from a suzuki sj410. If you need any help finding the original parts I can help you. I know a lot about these cars. I have 11 of them

Hi Tony, Thanks for the comment, the LJ80 has taken a back seat for a while until I got the E24 completed. However we have a big update very soon which will see the LJ80 come back sooner than expected!

I was mocking you being buried in the Shat-son 260 of rust, Ryan.. in rocks a T4 transporter camper yesterday which appears to have the odd spot here & there that isn't rusty, just in order to shut me up.. Least that 'zuki motor is nice and simple. I was at a droF tdci yesterday... more sensors, gubbins, pipes, wires & widgets than you'd find on the space shuttle - plus everyone everywhere had taken their turn poking at it before it landed in here still busted. Effort!
