A few churlish comments in here that just proves they haven’t watched much women’s rugby. Having watched a bit of it I can only commend her for the engine she has and the endeavour and commitment. A truly remarkable player in her day.

Totally Agree John. Maggie was nicknamed 'The Machine' for a reason. Most have no idea what she had to overcome to realise her dream, with various career threatening Injuries due to her club foot. it still amazes me that she managed over 70 caps. She had an engine that most male players can only dream of, and trained with the men at Sarries. And her positional play was outstanding. The ball seemed to be everywhere she was. I would put her alongside Richard Hill as the best I've seen for England.

Canada, Samoa, Ireland and USA. ‘Doing a Samoa’ is not to score a try (although they’re pretty good at that too) - doing a Samoa is a lethal, borderline illegal, high tackle, following through, putting them down safety and then grinding them into the dust when they’re on the floor - that she did against the Samoans. I rest my case lol...
