I was in Sydney for work yesterday and at two different client meetings plus a taxi ride I got told how impressive this was and that they were their second favourite team. The national origins of the people saying this: Pakistan, Australia, Sri Lanka.

I'm a few days late with this comment Tony. Thanks for talking about the Blackcaps clean sweep over India. The whole squad performed VERY WELL. throughout that Indian Series Tour. Like what you said in this episode. Ravindra did GREAT with his century in the first test. Conway got 90 odd runs as well. O'Rourke did GREAT in that first test. India got dismissed for around 45 runs in their first innings. In the second test it was Satner that got 12 wickets. Also in the second innings by Blackcaps, Southee had a quickfire 50 odd runs with the bat. For have a good partnership with Will Young(who deserved the player of the series. In the final test, like what you said. Ajaz Patel got 13 wickets. Throughout this series Matt Henry did GREAT also. Henry & Satner SHOULD BE TEST MATCH PLAYERS NOW. They're currently ONLY fill-ins in test matches, but definite one-day players. Our captain of this series Tom Latham did SUPERB in HIS CAPTAINCY. Such as his timing of choices of change of bowlers. He did well with the bat in a few of his innings. Don't forget NZ best batsman Kayne Williamson DIDN'T FACE ONE BALL IN THIS SERIES. Like what I said earlier the WHOLE SQUAD GOT THIS SERIES WHITEWASH COMPLETED. WELL DONE BLACKCAPS. PLEASE DO IT AGAIN AGAINST ENGLAND, THEN AUSTRALIA.

Love SCO's backline! I know it was a weakened Fiji, but Darcy Graham 🔥 Training ground move that saw DvM score in the corner 🔥 Those 2 duking it out over the Autumn to be SCO's All-Time Try-Scorer 🔥 Hope it's a close one score game vs SA 🤞 M Smith needs to be allowed to close out games like that; F Smith needs to be a bench option: Props like Genge shouldn't repeatedly be left in unflattering mismatches vs lightning quick Backs; Freeman @13 is the general consensus for a reason. ABs look like they'd be better balanced with Finau @6, Ardie @7 & Sititi @8 with Barrett & Tuipulotu (ahead of Vaai) in the 2nd row & Roigard @9 ahead of Ratima.

The penalties for tackling off the ball, I believe were constructed and were in reality obstruction. The english players took out the AB on the inside. It drew the penalty incorrectly because the law says the defense can hold their line. I think the line out fell apart because Patrick came in and Amua had not worked with him much. He will improve that quickly. Nothing better than beating the english by one point in Fortress Twickers! Or two. Or in marler's case Scratch anyone else's balls!

Most of those penalties we copped for taking the man off the ball would've been called back for obstruction if they had led to tries. A nice bit of nastiness in slagging off the Irish lads for remembering a teammate. The 8 was to remember Foley, nothing to do with your dancing. You have your answer too as to why people have a problem with the haka. Whether you acknowledge it or not you occupy a privileged position in your head.
@TwoCentsRugby22 күн бұрын
I dunno what slagging off there was here - we're all for teams doing what they feel is right. As a Kiwi it's one we hear every year or so. Just strange that nothing is ever said about any other countries that perform a challenge
@corny16522 күн бұрын
@TwoCentsRugby Your friend definitely had a little sneer and a jibe about 'losing that one'. The fact that they didn't is funny but incidental. The important thing is that the significance of what it meant to the Irish players to honour a friend and a very respected man was lost on him. Not a good look. He betrayed his true feelings too. All the talk about not caring about what the opposition do during the haka was obviously a lie.
@TwoCentsRugby22 күн бұрын
Well I can't speak for anyone else but I love seeing the different kind of responses, be they from the opposition or the crowd. It's just tiresome to hear some (usual English) former player/pundit/journo start the "ban the Haka" conversation again. Nobody's worried about the Samoan Siva Tau though. The fact that 7 of the top 8 videos on World Rugby's KZbin channel are about some kind of Haka/Haka response - I would have thought is a great indicator that it's a headline grabber and draws in casual viewers - some of whom will turn into regular viewers. Overall that's a net positive for the game. So to see "bin it" every few years, just seems nuts and is very old (definitely gets a lot of clicks in the social media age though)
@kurupt715422 күн бұрын
“Nothing to do with your dancing” yeah sure mate now take your casual racism and boot it! There is no answer to anything! NH cry every year about the haka and it’s just old! Only head that’s being occupied is yours and anyone else that has to cry about the haka
