this was my favorite adventuring party moment possibly ever, from start to finish. I love that the sheer silliness of England turns Brennan into a temporary American patriot. I love that Ally invented a word so perfectly British I can't doubt that it is a pointless pastry that didn't need a name of its own. I love that Siobhan completely anticipated the humiliation to come and just leaned into it for the pure comedy of it. I love Murph embracing the sweet release of death over enduring a British nursery rhyme. I love the funkytown confusion and Lou and Emily and Zac all going wild imagining a highly syncopated funky CPR bringing you back to a state of arrhythmia lol.

I mean, that has some almost-truth to it; egg whites aren’t great for open wounds but the very thin membrane between the egg white and shell is! For shallow cuts it can be used to help close them and heal them faster, as it lets the wound breathe while preventing any germs from getting into it. Don’t try and use it for like a punctured lung or anything though.

Maybe it's because I learned in the 90's, but the rhythms I was taught were to count "one thousands" (ONEonethousandTWOonethousandTHREE etc) or "elephants" (ONEelephantTWOelephantTHREE etc). But I the big reason it wasn't Nellie the Elephant was - according to one of the instructors - because of the Toy Dolls version of the song, and you didn't want first aiders pausing chest compressions for the "oooooooooOOOOOOOOO*OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH*!" build up between verse and chorus.
