80% is not bad is it? That's how well I'm feeling. I have been wanting to make this video about English Paper Piecing the whole time I have been less than 80% and here it finally is!
The Trip Around the World Quiltalong we have been doing on Patreon has come to an end now with the final Gallery Video showing all the amazing quilts everyone made over here

All the previous episodes are there to watch along with over a year and a half of videos and posts.

I watch Missouri Star too. They are all about making quilts quickly. Sometimes I think people forget about how wonderful the process can be. For me, quilting is almost meditative, especially handwork. So I go at my own pace, use some old methods, and enjoy the process itself.

Hello Kate, I am a crafter but all my projects have been on hold for the last 3/4 years while I have been looking after my husband who has Dementia. John is now in a Nursing Home, (for 12 months now) . I had been visiting him every day then came lock down. I was talking to the wall for a while, catching up with jobs that had been left as I could not leave him for a second. Then... I found your you tube site and I'm hooked. I have been viewing a lot of them over a few days, so a lot of catching up to do. I now feel like I have a friend next door who I can have a cuppa with when it suits both of us, it's great. Thank you for just being there Kate. Pat.P

I fell in love with Agnes' quilt! I decided to try my hand at English Paper Piecing. I just finished my king sized quilt! I did four panels of EPP but I kept the edges as they are and sewed it with black edging, which pops the color. I used strips of the same colors in the EPP to separate the panels and edged them again around the whole quilt. I wish I could add pictures because it turned out beautiful! Thank you for your wonderful and easy instructions!

Hi Kate, even though this is an old video I feel I must comment. I just love watching your content and find it all so interesting. It’s a lovely day today in Portugal, I walked my dogs and mowed the grass before my breakfast so I could beat the heat! I’m now sat outside in the shade crocheting and listening to you, it’s just perfect 😊 I’m pretty isolated where I live and spend a lot of time on my own but I don’t mind, I actually like it. Thanks once again I’m so enjoying watching all your interesting videos 😊

Woman, you are a happy sight for sore eyes!!!! So really glad you’re upright and taking nourishment. When you posted you were very under the weather but had been tested, well that was just a big relief. And with regards to glue tacking vs. stitch tacking, let’s just say there are no quilt police!!! If the end result is the desired result, then you’re doing it right. Again so good to see your smiling face again, keep getting rested up, I’m sure your kids have kept you in good hands.

Lovely to see you Kate ! I'm with you...I was taught to stitch my paper piecing too, but I dont stitch through through my papers. I did try the glue method and I didn't enjoy that process at all. I feel a lot more relaxed when sitting on the lounge and hand stitching them. Not everything we make has to be rushed ?

Nice to see you back, happy to hear your on the mend. All well here, decluttering, it’s our mission so understanding your thoughts. We put out three red snow shovels we bought for our grandchildren when they were small, now they are 14, 15, and soon to be 17. Time is now to reorganize. Thanks for sharing and stay well. 👍❤️😊
