Eleanor takes us on a tour of an English Teacher's apartment in Nanjing. The cost of this apartment is only 2,700 RMB ($390), which is really reasonable in China. A lot of teachers get an apartment with other English Teachers to help keep costs down, but it is also very possible for someone to have their own apartment.
Most apartments in China will be furnished and come with basics, like TV, tables, sofa, bed, etc. You will need to go to the local supermarkets to get some living basics like silverware, towels, coffee mugs, etc. No worries though, these items are extremely easy to find in your Chinese city.

It can really vary. It all depends on the amenities and location. It would cost a little bit more than this one. Not exactly sure on the price.
