Without grammar you can't make a sentence.

But you don't have to learn it by studying it in the old traditional ways. Young children make sentences all the time and they don't understand the grammar.

Children like myself make a lot of mistakes. We have to know what is a noun, an article, a verb AND the their grammatical function.
