Good evening sir, Today’s motivational quote is “Rise up & attack the day with enthusiasm.” Editorial is related to failure of the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) forecast related to monsoon. In my opinion: - The India Meteorological Department (IMD), which works for predication of weather condition of India as well as other countries, has been again failed to do exact predication, resulting in the country has been experiencing huge losses day by day due to natural disasters. Given the current situation, exact predication can save many losses be it related to human or other things. Apart from this, the world has the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) which predicts weather condition at the global level has also been failed to do exact predication due to which many countries have been experiencing colossal losses due to natural disasters. There can be no denying that the Government as well as the people of the country is full responsible for this. Nowadays, houses and buildings are being constructed by cutting down the forest which is very dangerous for the environment and it will somewhere create problem to the Government to curb the natural disasters such as flood, landslide, Earthquake etc. Apart from this, the government must put all efforts to strengthen the IMD and it will merely happen when it focuses on recruiting skilled workers, giving opportunity to youths and seeking opinion from retired personnel those who have served for the development of nation. There can be no denying that the government doesn’t want to learn from its past happenings due to which the main issues are not resolved on time. If the IMD gives right predication, it will help to save men and materials before occurring any mishaps.
