Actually Qianlong is to blame... this caused Consort Shu to commit suicide out of grief.... this caused her best friend the Empress to end up in a premature labor... hence the child she bore had health problem... which ultimately led to the baby death... so Qianlong himself killed two of his children...

I see why she had to go through a premature labor for many reasons. For starters she just faced a visual drama of her friend which caused her to go through shock and second any women who had a hard time of conceiving a child for many years will have a huge problem of her safely delivering a child and this part I know very well because my mother went through this experience with my twin sisters she had a hard time to conceive for many years after I came to the picture and she ended up having a premature labor of sisters one was born healthy while the other twin was born with health problems and finding out that her lungs weren't fully develope in the womb along with a hole in her heart and also discovering that in her placenta of her sack had an infection causing her to be diagnosed with down syndrome and autism. This also can happen to women also experiencing abnormal menstrual cycles

I looked up how long the daughters of Qianlong actually lived, their life expectancy clearly was a lot less than for the sons! (Edited:)The sons lived almost ten years longer, on average Ten daughters. On average they lived something like 18-19 yrs, the oldest lived 61 yrs, next one 49yrs, five of them died before 10 yo, four died before 5 years. (Sorry, I did one calculation completely wrong for some reason, so now I have corrected the results) (The mother of 10th Prince though seems to have outlived her son by more than 20 yrs.)
