This is quite honestly, the most important video I've ever seen when it comes to FL studio. The third party integration has always been my personal bugbear with controllers, constantly making templates or having to remake them. I can't believe this. You're even controlling the Spitfire ones. I'm amazed and utterly thankful

It depends on how the author has implemented their plugin - you will find that some do (but most will not).

Thanks for the honest and detailed video on how to do this its sad that it requires such archaic scripting. Almost feel like im back in the old school hardware days. Its sad that its required. Image line really needs to rewrite their code from scratch. GOL aka dider dambrin the original programmer/creator for fl studio had some strong opinions on anyone whos workflow differed from what he considered unnecessary or friviolus. FL studio was coded in delphi which is generally database language. They now have coded things out in another language on top of the original code or replaced what they could. I love fl studio but this level of bandaid is one of the things that hold fl back.

I don't have the FLKey but your script for the iCon QCon X was awesome, I trust anything you put your hands on. I do wish there was a descent script for the Akai MPK249 though...

I am considering buying a Novation Fl Keys keyboard61 because of this video. Thanks for helping me throw my hard earned money away. LOL. Thanks great video. This was FL Studios biggest downfall. I could not get anything to works well. I bought a touchscreen laptop to record controller data (knobs on the vst with pretty good success but just not as easy as knobs. I hope this works and if the knob is not programed in the script I go back to the touchscreen. The only downside is not all of my vst are in the list but many of them so I will be happy for now. Thanks again.

How do you access the other parameters in each plugin, the 2nd,3rd etc set of 8 knobs?

The idea is to give easy access to the "top 8" parameters - just use the plug in itself if you ever want to dive in deeper.

Hi Ian, thank you for this video. I am considering getting an FL Key 49 myself. Most of the plugins I use are in the list but I am skeptical about some like Omnisphere. Since I play a bit of Piano myself it would be a deal breaker for me. Would you suggest moving ahead with FL key 49 for someone like me ?
