There are windows to weave still, it's more difficult to line up though since you're working with unsynced weapons but it's very much possible, mostly on 4. This guy doesn't look like he even uses a swing timer so I doubt he weaves.

I might need to switch from ELE which I'm awesome at to Enhance which I never played before because our frost DK wants to go Unholy and we need the melee haste. So you don't find it necessary to desync your weapons and use the enhance swing timers to time your LB's to hit before the off hand hits? It honestly what turned me off of enhance to begin with lol. Edit: I heard you mention that as spellhance we don't desync and pay attn to the swing timers. In ICC what will be the meta, spellhance or physical wf?

The rotation guide would be just so much better and easier to understand if you would use the WA or Addon that shows the flow of spells you just cast on your screen. Cause right now you only see that you cast something every GCD, but not in what order.

If you have a resto shaman in your group, i recommend dropping 3/3 str/agi totem and going into full lightning shield. I have also been testing using glyph of lightning shield and I think it will be really good for single target.

Lightning shield glyph is worse than FT, nova, and stormstrike. You wouldn't drop any of those for it even specced out of enhancing totems for the shield talent unless you feel like losing dps.

With using the 1.8 and 2.7 speed weapons, dont we want to wait to LB until 5 stack since you have a higher chance of clipping the swing timer? Also, shouldnt you save your 2nd pot (speed) for when you have a damage proc, not another haste proc?

If you run sims you can see that using maelstrom exclusively at 5 stacks is a dps loss. That works great for the 2nd pot! I don’t have any attack power procs so I use it with my gloves. Either way works fine.

Depending on your gear those can be a slight upgrade, the belt of biting cold is an upgrade for sure for aoe fights.

There's an internal CD on flame tongue weapons damage component. If you use rank 9 on your main hand and rank 10 on your offhand, they won't interfere with each other. You put rank 10 on your offhand as your lava lash will deal more damage with the higher rank.

Is it worth destroying the fire ele to replace a magma totem so I can continue to use fire nova in my rotation when the boss is moved, or do you just keep the ele and not press fire nova? You need a spellpower mainhand for this spec. Phys weapons are awful, and they only get worse the more targets you add to a fight. There was a brief moment in Ulduar where if you had exactly GSD+Caress+Constellus, it was worth swapping to GSD for certain fights that have no cleave like Algalon, IC, Thorim, but only after using the SP mainhand to snapshot your fire ele, and you also needed to be good at weaving since the main benefit of this swapping was being able to bolt weave with synced weapons (There are no spellpower weapons you can sync past wraith strike, but there are phys weapons. This is their main benefit.) This phase, however, every fight has some cleave component to it. It's pretty much never worth it to swap off your spellpower mainhand in ToGC, and once you're farming ToGC and you get a reign of the dead, there's really no debate anymore since windfury weapon cannot proc the trinket. After you get the trinket there's never a time where phys mainhand or windfury enhancement are worth using. If you're new to the spec you should just grab a spellpower weapon ASAP and use that always. You'll probably find guides or random people on the street using phys weapons and pure phys gear but they're either clueless about the spec or using out of date info, this spec's classic wotlk iteration is being theorycrafted in real time as each phase releases so I would not trust any info you read online at face value.

Any tips on fire ele placement for Jaraxus? I found that when I placed it on top of the boss at the beginning of the fight, after we shifted to the portal my fire nova was not in range of the enemies sometimes. You can wait until the first portal goes out and then use your fire ele but you'll be missing the spell power from wild magic pot for your snapshot. The best way is to ask your raid lead to move back to fire nova range after portals/volcanoes die.

If the tank moves away from your totem, I would just replace your fire ele, as the cleave from magma and your fire nova will out dps the ele. I did this and parsed 99.

It's still very strong. its not as strong as full haste (after dropping ulduar 4p). You can definitely get away with stark gems through and through.

The spellpower one is better generally, but there's tech where you can proc the spellpower enchant pre-pull, swap to a cloak with the AP enchant, and proc that as you get into melee then snapshot fire ele with both. They have no ICD on equip, the buffs persist after unequip, making this possible. If you don't want to bother with that then SP one is the best to have on for general gameplay. If you're min-maxing the pre-pull fire ele buffs then you want AP on your bis cloak and spellpower on a side cloak that you swap off pre-pull.

Speed doesn’t matter but you want a spell power mainhand. The only slow one is wraith strike.

Hello. Am I correct? In raid with improved devotion aura or tree of life and mortal strike or aimed shot or wound poison my spirit wolves will heal me for 159% of their damage. Anub'arak will leech 30% of my hp every second and will heal for 115% of damage dealt. For example if my spirit wolf hit boss for 1000 damage he will heal me for 1000*159%=1590 hp. When boss leeches this 1590 hp under mortal strike he will get healed for 1590*115%=1828.5 hp. So if my wolfes for example deal 70000 damage over 45 seconds they will heal boss for 70000*182.85%=127 995 so they will do negative 57955 damage am i correct? In the end boss will just heal for 50k hp from my wolves and they will be useless?

wolves are a dps loss on anub P3, ideally you summon outside of leeching, but if you have to summon them during it you should summon them either during lust then put them on passive or summon when you get penetrating cold. In either case you only attack with them when you have penetrating cold to keep yourself alive. Any other time during anub P3 they shouldn't be attacking.

Glyphs SP: Feral Spirit, Fire nova, Flametongue Weapon Glyphs Physical: Feral Spirit, Fire nova, Stormstrike Same for all bosses.

@@ayer1118 Fire Nova, Flametongue, and Feral Spirits are the highest value trio for heavy cleave fights. It is also simming the highest on single target as well. I got this info from the shaman discord!

@@stookishaman I don't think its very valuable on single targets, while there is glyph windfury +2% chance, and +8% nature dmg with stormstrike glyph. That +8% increasing the earth shock dmg + lightning bolt dmg too. In theory, and while you will going icc, there is just some fight where you can sit on the mobs, in other times you have to move a lot, if not then you will die. I would you use Feral spirit, stormstrike, and +2% windfury chance glyphs for AP. The only glyph what somehow looking good, that is fire nova for the adds, but that glyph i think standard for spellhance with flametongue in hand.
