I know everyone's entitled to their opinion, but the media is truly going out of their way now to convince people that the economy is doing good and if you're not on board with that, then the problem is you. But in reality, people are looking around and seeing relatives and friends being laid off or evicted from their homes and people not able to afford their bills and yet they are trying to convince those people that this economy is the greatest ever? Good luck!

Being a Multi-Millionaire was a big deal in the 80's. I live on Millionaire's Row, which was coined in the late 60's; in the 70's-90's this was a lot of money. A Cadillac in the 80's was around $25,000 with, a Rolls Royce being at $50,000. My grandparents three story home in Sacramento CA, cost $200,000 in 1972. In fact my grandmother's 1986 Mercedes 560 SEL was $65,000 which, was among the highest priced luxury cars on the market. Being a Millionaire in the 80's, a time when savings accounts/bonds/Life Insurance contracts (farmers) paid 10% returns: as you can see, life was MUCH easier for many Americans!

I recognize the hardships that come with economic struggles like unemployment, job loss, inflation, housing market instability, political uncertainties, and the global impact of conflicts and wars. Making ends meet during such times can be incredibly challenging. To navigate this difficult period, considering alternative job prospects, enhancing skills through online courses, and expanding your network can heighten the chances of securing employment. Moreover, prudent budgeting, exploring available financial aid programs, and seeking assistance from community organizations can offer some relief. How are you currently tackling these challenges? Have you implemented any specific strategies to cope?

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

Yes I've had to reach into my savings to pay bills. Yes my house has been paid for for a very long time cause I respect money. I haven't had a vacation since 2004 so I don't spend money on frivolous things. Since my wife died 2.5 years ago my expenses have more than tripled. I couldn't care less what the government says about the inflation numbers case its all BS. My electric bill has tripled & due to go up another 25% on June 1, my nat gas bill x3, car insurance x2, pharmacy X 5, food x5 & higher, gasoline X 3 & higher, clothing X 5 & higher, eye glasses X 5 etc. So I'm not really interested in what this administration has to say. Our dollar is based on all countries trading with us currency, especially oil. When that stops all those dollars in all those banks around the world come back to the US. This creates inflation. The printing of dollars we don't have, the borrowing of money we don't have caused our dollar to be worthless. The brics nations were formed to trade outside of the us dollars. These countries consist of over 40% of the world trading this is also causing the dollar to inflate BECAUSE they are not trading with our dollar. Right now the US is spending more than we bring in by over 113%. This includes all GDP and tax revenues. This will only create bankruptcy at the highest level. Or complete failure. You can't go on spending money you don't have. When we go bankrupt the world goes bankrupt thus a new world power steps in and controls the new world currency. Now we as a country will not have the luxury of spending money we don't have and we will be back like all the other poor 1st world countries that are turning 3rd world right before our eyes!

Lol, oh Michael, where do these people come from that? I bought my house at 7% last November 2023. I'm 68 years old, and my social security checks pays for it. I have some funds left over from that as well. I am still working to get debth free, and I am single making a little over 80,000 a year. Buddy,,, I hate going to buy groceries and getting out of the house. It is freaking expensive. I'm lucky to reside in deep south Texas where it's more economical than most parts of the u.s.a. Governor Abbott has cut off the school districts gravy train taxes. I pray that will help me at the end of the year. Just my two cents in there. Love your tank tops, I need some to show off my ex body builder muscles, 😅. Great job, I enjoy your professional info.

Current administration: "your fine. Just look at your $$$ accounts that rose by 10% in the last year." Uhm...Ya, but my actual overall cost to live went up by 35% and those acccounts are locked in. And you raised my taxes & fees on everything im buying or own, by 30- 150%!

I’m in the home service business( dryer vent cleaning, fireplaces, etc) Every week I feel like I need to raise my prices again! Probably will need to start quoting a minimum of $350 starting price for first hour. Many small businesses owners are trying to hold off raising our prices but will have to soon to stay in business and make all my investment worthwhile. 38 years in business- at 64 soon 65 - might just retire and put my money in T bills.

Great video. Thank you so much. It’s nice to know I’m not going crazy! Inflation and costs for most everything is insane here in LA and everyone I know says the same thing. Btw gas here was $5.39 a gallon yesterday. On my way home the same gas station today is now at $5.49! You can’t complain, because they will tell you it’s your fault for driving a car. 😑

I watch your channel because it is an accurate reflection of what is going on but the beautiful scenery buffers it. You are also very likeable and pleasant to watch.

Yahoo News reported, those who changed co.panies earned 10% more, those who stayed 5% more. My reality. Wages froze (no merit hourly increase). Now paid a bonus that equated to 2.5%. Meanwhile inflation at over 3%. Wages may be up for those in sales earning commission on inflated sales. But the real world, this economy is shit.

The government currently lacks concrete strategies to address inflation. Inflationary pressures are impacting various sectors, including stocks, housing, and commodities, causing their prices to rise. It is not advisable to keep your money idle and wait for a market crash. Instead, it is prudent to put your money to work by starting with cautious investments and gradually increasing your pace as prices decline further. Withdrawing a significant amount of money, exceeding $500K, from my account at this time presents a challenging decision.

With the current market trend My advice to anyone starting out in the market is to seek guidance as its the best way to build long term wealth while managing your risk and emotions with the passive investing strategy

Since the first recession that affected me as an adult, (2073), we have NEVER fully recovered from any economic slowdown. We leveled off but never, ever completely bounced back to pre-recession conditions. It's like for the last 50 years the country has been stumbling down a flight of stairs. Drop and level off, drop again and level off, etc.. Till here we are. Most people are in debt for everything they have.
