I just got one to reprogram my key after replacing my pcm. It does have screen recording. It’s the icon at the bottom right on the screen. What I find strange is their lower priced models like the T Ninja line has free updates for life. You’d think the more you spend, the more perks you’d get.

I have this same scanner and it does in fact allow you to use authauth. It will display a message showing that the vehicle gateway is locked and needs to sign in to autoauth to gain access. Love this scanner as far as a good scanner at a decent price.

I picked this up approximately a week but haven't gotten her rolling yet. New to higher level scanners so I know it's going to take a fair while for me to get it fine tuned.

See if you can get your hands on the phoenix lite 3. Suppose to be the cheapest scan tool that has the topology feature. The only thing that worries me about it is the 2 gb ram

Can you calibrate brake pedal position sensor with this scan tool? New to the scan tool world and finding out that capabilities vary quite a bit. Love the videos. Thanks in advance.

Yea that’s because not one scan tool does it all on every vehicle. And it may do a certain function on one tool but not on the other. So when people ask me if it will do a certain job unless I’ve done that specific job I don’t have an answer for them Sadly

To email the reports you have to save it first and then it lets you email it.

I want a scanner for car coding and programming I have a launch scanner with scar 5 hardware and it pretty much does it job but restricts with some tasks it was capable of doing earlier thought i might need an upgrade can you tell me if this scanner and do its job with what I personally need .

You need a j box and a laptop with oe software for coding and programming or something like a rap or an autel with autel remote programming and pay for someone to remote in for you to program

No scan tool checks and sees if an ecm is bad. You have to physically check your inputs and powers and grounds to see if an ecm is bad

It will do dlc tpms but you still need a tpms programmer like an its600 or something similar

Yes it should do Toyota keys. Technically the answer is yes but there are always variables with every scan tool and vehicle

Depends on the vehicle. Some show power balance if that’s what the manufacturer has as an option and others are just counters
