Entangled Seal Makes Rescuer RUN!

This seal is proof of how fast seals can run on land. Naude's sprinting skills were put to the test in this rescue. It's never a good sign when we go blind on a group of seals and still get this many entangled seals. Many studies show that fishing gear poses the greatest entanglement threat to marine wildlife. Therefore, it's no surprise that all five entanglements came from fishing-related activities.

Like I have mentioned before, I know you are only treating the symptoms and not the cause, but your efforts are still very impressive to us, your viewers. As before, I still pray for a day when your work is no longer strictly necessary (due to a hardly existing number of entanglements from synthetic products), but in the meantime we must continue to inform more people about the industrial and human sources for these very harmful pollutants. Viewers, our job is to go out and spread the information just as efficient and targeted as the OCN crew rescues these seals.

It must be an amazing feeling Everytime the animal survives...but it must be emotionally difficult...because the job is never done...and depressing that the oceans are so polluted that this is actually a job...to get the plastic off the seals...I would support this totally and why isn't this on the news for awareness in fishing shit you shouldn't buy...God bless everyone involved...it makes me cry
