The little touch I love is 3:53 when she gets hit by one bullet and yells in pain. She’s super tough, but bullets still hurt which is why she blocks them with her bracelets. It’s just a tiny touch that makes the character feel like she’s practical rather than showing off.

Like, of course the animation looks kind of wacky, but we also don't know what it actually looks like for a human to move that quickly. Her running as well; It almost looks like she's teleporting. It reminds me of how Faora moved in Man Of Steel. I think Snyder has a really good view on how superhuman speed should look. Props to the VFX teams for making his vision possible.

Yeah the plot for the sequel was underwhelming with the whole Diana losing her powers shit. But Cheetah should never be underestimated at all.

Something that I feel that the DCEU movies have always done better than the MCU is showcasing the real human perspective; there's always real weight given to things that would be written off as background noise in an MCU movie. Bullets feel threatening, collateral damage isn't glossed over, you can really feel just how much these heroes are beyond the common man, & because of all that, you can also tell how much these gods care about the people they're protecting.

My favorite part is the high speed movements. Really makes it extra clear how she is a super human being. That's what I noticed with Snyder and superheros. He portrays them as the superhuman beings that they are. He loves to dramatize them, make it really clear they are beyond humans. MCU tends to "humanize" its heroes, make them goofy, relatable. I mean I like that too but I also like Snyder's portrayal as well. Snyder provides a good contrast of hero portrayals to the MCU.

Snyder's whole perpective on the DCEU was based off the game "Injustice" "Gods among us" storyline (eventual evil superman, Batman and Joker being a vital key to everything) add in Darkseid to broaden the DC Universe immensely with the hugely popular Jack Kirby "4th world" story arcs in the comics! Imagine seeing the "New Gods' "Forever People" "Mr. Miracle" and "Jimmy Olsen" crossing over through the Green Lantern core, Martian Manhunter, and the coming of "Brainiac" on the big screen!!! Add in the visual world of Apokolips and New Genesis!! Zack was about to blow the lid off DCEU and give the MCU a run for its money!!!!

Snyder’ s vision of the superheroes is in my opinion the correct vision. His version of The Justice League was by far superior to the first movie. I was so impressed when I watched it and had, and still do, hopes of seeing him expand his version of the League and do other DC movies.

My idea is what if it was White Martians instead of Terrorist creating Chaos and the police didn't know how to handle them, but at the last minute, Martian Manhunter shows up with the same Energy as Diana did here, and used the full extent of his Unique powers to take them down. I love how the actual Wonder Woman theme just start just exactly when the action intensify, the pacing of the new theme goes from ANGELIC to BADASS exactly when the actions speed up, just small details that make you appreciate the editing, pacing, music, filming and camera work to perfection..................Whedon version you don't get anything of that, the music starts as soon the scene of wonder woman reveal at the beginning, like they are in a rush to get this scene over as fast as possible....Snyder take the time, building up the tension, so by the time the wonder woman theme kicks in, you feel the excitement and power that you want to feel watching a super hero, just whoop the sorry asses of these jerks.

There is definitely something to be said for allowing a director creative direction instead of allowing the executives to rule everything. We get a scene like this which is 10x better than the entirety of the Josstice League. I still have no idea how WB came up with the idea to allow Joss Whedon to even come close to Snyder’s project. It’s total lunacy to see how vastly different their creative visions are. Snyder actually focused on creating moments like this genuinely intense and not just another bunch of idiots who think they can change the world with a bomb, whereas Whedon decided to cut out all of important parts that while they may be small, they carry significance visually and story wise.

Can you imagine the likes of Apocalypse Now, Godfather, The Deer Hunter, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Raiders of the Lost Ark, just about anything from the 60s, etc etc being constrained by the committees? I think the balance in films these days has tipped more to the money side. I wish they would find a healthier balance. People have very mixed feelings about Snyder but the man has a vision and he runs with it, again good or bad. I like that. I like all of Snyder's DC films. And his take on Wonder Woman is still, bar none, the most genuine and touching depiction of the character I've seen on screen. Same with the Wachowskis, Wes Anderson, Paul Thomas Anderson, Julie Taymor, Terry Gilliam, and many others. It's one thing if you hand an 'untested' talent (Josh Trank) something of massive scope, but if you hand Denis Villeneuve the reins, back the fuck off and let him work.

I love how the bullets don't just deflect or flatten when they hit her bracers (like they might against Superman's chest), but they outright shatter, almost like tiny stardust. That slow-motion depiction of the first bullet being pulverized by its own impact is very majestic and beautiful. It may not be as realistic as the aforementioned Superman example (like that one scene from Superman Returns or him getting shot by the helicopter gunner in Man of Steel), but I think it makes sense, considering Diana's bracers are imbued with the power of Zeus (or her power, which they simply contain). I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but it also seems like maybe the bullets charged up the shockwave she creates in the end, kind of like the one she hit Doomsday with after being blasted with heat vision in BvS. Like they absorb the energy (be it kinetic or solar) and then release it.
