Just feel the rage, feel the shame, feel the guilt, feel the sadness, feel the depression, feel the grief, feel the remorse, feel the resentment, feel the passion, feel the heat - feel the fire - feel it, feel it, feel it... Your freedom depends on it! Feel it all: just as it is. Just as it is. Just as it is - not escalating further, not repressing, not suppressing, not turning it into something hard...

This is excellent. Remaining in our comfort zone is simply an indication that we are not yet fully prepared for the next step. That being said, we should invite the comfort zone for a cup of tea, but it shouldn’t become our permanent residence or everything start to become more challenging.

Unfortunately for all too many of us the comfort zone is anything but comfortable. It's easier to endure insanity or crazy making because it's known. For myself this recognition has turned into over a five decade process revealing itself to me. I would love to say knowing this is the end of this kind of way of existing but I've known it for years and am still going through it one memory and then person at a time. I suppose (for myself) one measure of progress is the significance of the relationship that's being dealt with. A mother and son relationship doesn't get more significant than any other in the beginning. I recommend dealing with it as soon as you're able.

why do you remove a recent interview with Pema? I can't find it any longer.

Wonderful prose, but I’m confused why the video is saturated with videos of construction, new (potentially toxic and definitely not green ) houses on recently cleared deforested land, renovated rooms that are aesthetically pleasing but not really necessary? Perhaps we could focus on people gardening, or using the analogy of construction/improvement with scenes that show us changing our lives by integrating with or improving the natural environment?

And are there not people living lifes continuously in the uncomfort zone? Cup of tea 🍵 might be there once offered, appreciated, assumingly.
