This tracks for me. I think star wars would give star trek a good run, after all it is using technology that has been around for a while. They know it, they understand it, and they build on it. But ultimately the Federation has more advanced and more flexible tech, because they innovate. The Empire doesn't encourage free thinking which leads to innovation, while the Federation is all about it, so it's natural they would have more advanced tech in general. Great battle!

When comparing tech manuals, apparently the Star Destroyers weapons are basically the same as a Klingon Bird of Pray. Speaking of energy weapons though. Kinetic weapons, ST's are far more powerful.

Not to mention that based on what I have seen on screen with both franchise's, Starfleet's weapons are far more accurate and have far longer ranges.

Haha, yes. Agreed. I want to try tweak that a bit with the SW ships I have as currently, as you can see, they seem far too accurate.
