There's currently only 1 LIVE video of Fami with Lovebites on YT and it was dropped a couple of weeks ago. The video of the LIVE track "The hammer of Wrath" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnnViIWKZa-Yl8U ) is an excerpt from one of their 2 "We are the Resurrection" concerts held back in 11 March this year. This entire concert is on blue-ray/DVD which will be released on 23 August under the moniker of "Knockin' on Heaven's Gate".

I think because these ladies are such great musicians whose songwriting abilities are insanely amazing, we tend to overlook that they are also tremendous lyricists. I honestly believe Lovebites are flawless. Asami's vocals really shine in this song. If you haven't listened to it yet, give the song Dancing With The Devil a spin. It really shows off Asami's background in R&B.

I've seen Maiden perform Rime of the Ancient mariner, Metallica Fade To Black, Scorpions Winds of Change, Ozzy Tonight, tonight, Aerosmith Dream On. This is as great as those if not better. I really think Lovebites is a band before its time. The music writing and lyrics are just next level. My personal opinion. This was like 3 songs in 1 and Haruna kicks it into overdrive towards the end with the double kick, geese. You were spot on with the comment of "really running out of ways to describe them". One word sums them up perfectly...PERFECTION. Great reaction!🤘

If Asami sang in a more popular type of music, she’d be a household name. Not only does she sing like an angel at times, but she can switch up to full belt with ease. As a ballerina she exploits her free arm to the fullest, but watch how slowly and gracefully she will wave and salute, no matter the tempo playing out behind her. It’s been said by many, and I’ve experienced it firsthand, that she can control the whole audience with a look or a wave of her hand. You must appreciate that Lovebites last two years have been barren since Miho upped and left. So there is, currently, only one (non pirated) song with her onstage. Hammer of Wrath, latest release from the forthcoming album of the comeback show, and it’s on their official KZbin channel.

Blues and metal have been the music that gets my pulse pumping for over 40 years. I think that's one reason why I could listen to Miyako's solos end to end for hours without tiring. Her bluesy feel and her bends are just so damn good! Midori is an amazing shredder but Miyako's emotions comes through in her playing.

Lovely reaction but, just to clarify things, Asami was not a pop star before joining Lovebites. She was actually an R&B singer although she worked often as a backing singer for other artists. Apart from some small club gigs singing soul, Lovebites is her first real experience at fronting a big name band. She does have years of experience however in the performing arts generally having been a ballerina and modern dancer as well as a singer.

Reacting to the latest Japanese all-girl metal bands is the most popular thing on reaction channels these days, but it's too bad barely anybody knows about X Japan, the biggest Japanese band of all time, and the reason the others exist. And the band has such an interesting and tragic story, every fan of Japanese metal owes it to themselves to divve into their music and history.

Miho was flawless from the beginning and played with a different style, Fami is fitting in well with her own style so I agree that there is no comparison between them. Flawless can't be upgraded but it can be matched in a different style. And that's what counts.
