So it's the chemicals in the treated wood that corrode the aluminum?

Supposedly, it's the copper in the green treated wood that causes corrosion! As long as there is a barrier between the wood and aluminum, it should be fine. But I guess time will tell!

Good to know! Using treated wood would have been my first choice also.@@rotten-and-forgotten

Hey, another great video, I'm replacing the seat cover on my tundra,(the one in my profile picture) but some of the foam has deteriorated and i need to add a bit of foam on the back of the seat to make the cover fit right. WhT would you recommend glueing the foam together with? Would super glue work?

I've always used a spray adhesive while gluing foam back together! Usually 3M multi purpose adhesive, that being said I am sure there is other ways to glue it! That darn seat foam is expensive! I've scavenged old couches for seat foam before.

Hum, its hard to say what would be causing that. Is it the original motor? Dose it have compression? Good spark? Is the Crank case full of fuel? Just a few thoughts! If it is the original 1966 motor id guess its a 250cc and not a 340. Good luck! Keep tinkering!
