Yeah I agree, I always get emotional with this scene. Maybe its because we grew up with him but also I think I envy their relationship - Partners in crime! A life of adventure.

Me too :). And I really miss those days. All those late 90s movies have a special vibe, it was the dawn of a new millenium and everything. That's all gone and none of us will experience it again :(

Quite a lot of chillstep has piano and synth in, though often includes electronic beats also. E.g. The paragon axis - shivering beauty .. I'll think some more

right some bands with piano in, ludovico einuadi, blackmill, the antlers, like spinning plates-radiohead, are you looking for bands with singing in? , also there is loads of chillstep type stuff on youtube search for 'suicide sheep' channel
