Kind of disrespectful but perfectly acceptable for the Shark Tank. PS: Steve usually gives the most respectable offer, and frowns upon other Dragons trying to exploit entrepreneurs.

So silly for not picking Steve, Sandra wanted Andrew and got Andrew only cause she liked him. Brendan wanted steve but sandra was too stubborn to pick steve, she just wanted her way. Steve was obviously the better partner, you could tell he really wanted to be a part of the business. That is the type of partners you would want in your business because there more likely to be motivated and contribute more of there efforts towards the business etc. Steve also has other investments in the medical industry so he knows the space well. this just frustrates me a lot.

I think that is a simplistic interpretation. They clearly preferred to have two sharks instead of one and Steve's immediate refusal is what lost it for him.

Not really silly. You got to see what qualifications they bring to the table. Steve just brings his investment knowledge. Were he has made investments which had huge returns but other then that he doesn't really bring anything else to the table. He's definitely not in this market so no advertisement doesn't know anything about babies dolls so can't give any advice. So it was smart for them to pick 2 sharks.
@ethantalevski40404 жыл бұрын
Matthew Hankins mate i don’t know if your living under a rock but generally you don’t make critical business decisions based of your “personal preference”, aka ‘who you would like to work with’ or ‘who you like more as a person’. i might be stereotypical and making assumptions but i believed sandra had a tunnel vision approach coming into the tank looking to work with andrew ‘as she said when they stepped out to talk about who to pick’ where’s brendan mentioned steve’s offer and was happy to take his offer. realistically sandra didn’t really want to give steve the time of day even though steve was the most beneficial partner for them. glen was just a tag along with andrew because steve didn’t want to partner up with andrew. if you re watch the video you’ll see steve’s curiosity, engagement and excitement about sandra’s and brendan’s fantastic product. having 2 sharks isn’t necessarily better, both andrew and glen were both initially looking to capitalise on there fantastic business for more ownership of the business. although glen and andrew went down to 10% each, i just don’t see them as being ideal partners for the business. just cause steve has other investments in the medical space doesn’t mean he doesn’t understand how things work. im sure all sharks can adapt to different markets if they needed to, that’s why there all successful entrepreneurs today! to sum it up steve would be able to access his connections quicker, due to his other investments he would have easy accessible contacts, steve also mentions something about a south african company/organisation that would purchase 1 million of them. allowing them to scale quickly and capitalise on a bigger market.
@ethantalevski40404 жыл бұрын
Matthew Hankins i just think you need to re look your opinion cause all the sharks are beyond qualified, and in fact steve can dramatically help them both with there numbers and accountancy. that was really lacking for them. steve could also help with the tech part of there business aka website, e marketing etc

As a mom who has had to do cpr training and shaken baby syndrome awareness classes to bring home preemie babies from the NICU I feel that the mannequin would be an amazing realistic training tool for new mothers OR as a woman who’s worked w cyfd and childcare it would be great for parenting classes. Also if you’ve gotta teach big sister/brother how to handle baby

Kind of get why Steve was pissed, but Partially His Fault. He may not be the most "friendly", but he is the most Fair of them all. Steve was willing to give them exactly what they asked, but Sandra Moffatt was biased for Glenn. I could tell Brendon Moffatt wouldve taken the offer from Steve on the spot. After Sandra asked Steve if he was willing to pair up and he said "No" simply because he thought him alone deserved the deal because he offered what they want, Sandra wrote him off.

Honestly if I had a product that Steve gave me what I wanted, I wouldn’t even have to think about it. I would have shook his hand before he got out of the chair. He’s the one that invests the most and to me when he got up and walked out shows he really cares about what he wanted to invest in.

To me it shows me he is petty and a child. Sometimes Steve is the nicest guy on the planet, but he is definitely the one who makes you feel the worst when things arent exactly how he wants them to be. I'd pick a less qualified shark over someone who made me feel shit all the time. It's not only about making millions, you have to be happy too.

I would have gone for Steve. Brendan said it right you could see he had a plan. The others were interested because it is a great deal but he was the one who had a clear vision. And he offered the deal they were looking for from the beginning providing the leverage they needed to make the others budge. He had a right to get pissed.
