TEDx Talks

7 жыл бұрын

Embracing the stage of TEDxIITKanpur, Supriya led a voyage of words which structured around the role of stories in impacting our mindsets, and them being a measure to interact with the world and understand it better. Sharing her own journey, interestingly, in the form of a story, to the audience as to how she explored multiple aspects of life in terms of career prospects, only to find out that she couldn't find her inner self and passion in whatever she had been doing. Then, reminded of the habit of her grandmother of telling her bedtime stories instilled the thought of storytelling as an effective way of expressing leading to entrepreneurial build-up of mind. Following her passion, 'Josh Talks', is now delivering at a national level, in various cities and various stratas of the society, recollecting and improving this somewhat lost art of storytelling.
Supriya Paul is the Co-Founder of Josh Talks, a platform that finds and showcases remarkable ideas and stories from all across India through offline events and online video content. In the last two years, they have hosted 20 conferences across 9 cities in India and reached out to more than 25,000 people offline and more than 5 million people online. Josh Talks was recently rated as the top 50 startups of India by Economic Times. Supriya is highly committed to her work and has a passion for team centric environments with a special focus on social volunteering opportunities.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Supriya ji your venture "Josh talk" is very good and I keep listening to there speeches more often. Tedx is a platform to share knowledge at global level but "Josh talk" is doing really great to reach out to our students in many cities in our country. I wish you could bring those platform and speakers to many smaller cities like jabalpur,Allahabad,Varanasi so student and young people could learn many life lessons and know there is much more to it than to live just another stereotypical dream.
